I see on Gainsborough Trinity website that they are playing at home to Ashton United, the same date as our home fixture v Spennymoor.
Surely we supporters are going to be given information soon as to when and where our next fixtures will be played.
The NLN must also be aware of our current plight.
The big question is are we going to be able to fulfill our next home fixture. I feel that fans are totally in the dark as to what is going to happen and it is time our directors updated us as to in what
direction the current negotiations are heading. Remember we supporters are the club which cannot survive without us. Supporters have been sold tickets and season tickets for upcoming matches and are suffering in silence with no information being given to us. The silence from the club is deafening, it is far too quietconsidering our current immediate plight.October 15, 2023 at 11:52 am #275354If there is nothing to report, then they have nothing to tell us.
They will tell us when they have something to report.
It’s not rocket science.

October 15, 2023 at 11:54 am #275355What happened to the 999 (or was it 99) year lease and “no rent until the club could afford it”?
October 15, 2023 at 12:51 pm #275359Rumour is a Black Friday (23rd Nov) deal will be done and we’ll all be as happy as an alcoholic on a weekend lock in at a brewery.

Was that in one of the EGO’s statements ?
If so like them all not worth the time anyone spent reading them. It couldn’t even honour his own chosen words at that first Forum he had having taken over.
That was ” When the Swann family leave we guarantee the club will be better off financially than when we arrived” !!
Forked tongue possibly !

October 15, 2023 at 1:43 pm #275362There has been nothing in the Gainsborough Standard about us moving there up to now

October 15, 2023 at 2:03 pm #275363In reply IronIronIron, but just to keep fans informed if negotiations are still ongoing would be good as we are only just over a week away from what should be our next home game, which will have to be played somewhere.
October 15, 2023 at 2:33 pm #275364North Lincolnshire Irons, Simon Elliot last week was on TV saying that there was was nearly 3 weeks to our next home game and that would give them some time to negotiate. Elliot said they would do everything they can to remain at GP.
They can’t keep giving update every 3 ore 4 days. I suspect nearer the time they will let us know.

October 15, 2023 at 2:41 pm #275365I think the fact that ticket sales for the Spennymoor and Bishop Stortford games had been available to purchase online and presumably therefore at the club offices until just recently has caused the disquiet, why would they be removed if things were going to remain as they are for the foreseeable future? It’s back to suck it and see time which is where we were a couple of weeks back, I however remain positive things will get sorted very soon in the club’s favour to remain at GP for the remainder of this season.
October 15, 2023 at 6:53 pm #275366we are only just over a week away from what should be our next home game, which will have to be played somewhere.
Or postponed and rearranged at a later date.

October 15, 2023 at 9:46 pm #275371Whilst I do appreciate that there are undoubtedly negotiations going on in the background, I do feel that in the light of the fact that home match tickets were taken off sale and the next home match is just over a week away, the club should really offer a statement.
Supporters do need to know what the contingencies are for people who have already purchased match tickets and season tickets. Should the worst happen, will we be transferred to a seat in the stand at Gainsborough Trinity, offered standing tickets, or nothing.

October 15, 2023 at 11:25 pm #275373SODIron, I totally agree with your statement. We supporters do need to be kept informed of the future plans particularly as we are only just a week away from our next home match. We love our football club and like so many others have committed to it by purchasing match and season tickets, and look forward very much to supporting our team at upcoming matches.
It is more than just a hobby to which we are devoted. All we are asking for is an update on negotiations.1 user thanked author for this post.
October 16, 2023 at 2:09 am #275375agree with both previous posts ..the club should really offer something to keep the fans informed , a brief statement to update the situation re ongoing negotiations and ticketing for home fixtures to set minds at ease.
That said…concerned fans is very understandable with the situation as it is, its gone from the insane DH social media rants and outbursts to deafening silence ..i much prefer the latter and im sure behind the scenes the new owners and board are working hard and will update as soon as they have something concrete to confirm.
