When/if the new owners take control everybody is agreed we need serious team strengthening. My view:-
Starting 11 – Ogle, Butterfield, Beestin, Nuttall
Squad – Rowe, Boyce, O’Malley, Feeney, Lavery
Youngsters – not seen enough to form an opinion
Move On – the rest (good luck with that)

Sounds like Ian Sharp thinks we need a new 11!

Well I’m only keeping 9 so 11 new ones would be a bare minimum.

Only two footballers at the club for me Butterfield and Nuttall. I would happily drive any of the others to their next club.

You might need a bank loan for the fuel.

I would add Ogle, Beestin and Wilson to that list, but football is all about opinions, I bet if every poster on here named their preferred starting 11 very few would be exactly the same.

Looks like I pretty much agree Cass,
At least 11 needed by my reckoning!
I’d let Feeney go along with a few others.

I’m guessing it’s Feeney’s last season anyway, his age and that nasty hamstring injury won’t have done him any favours.

Still think we should be blooding Foster in, highly rated yet deemed not good enough for us.

Would rather not ruin another promising young keeper’s career.

An 18 year old keeper shouldn’t be nowhere near this side

Isn’t Nuttall the subject of another improved offer from Oldham 🤔

Oli Turner said yesterday that they haven’t had a improved bid and Nuttall doesn’t want to go Oldham anyway

Do we go 4-5-1 and pack the midfield??

Two natural wingers (needed) and then a solid CM to partner Beestin, Apter will be gone so allow Butterflied free license in a number 10 role off the striker, he’s already shown his quality in front of goal and is a bit wasted in the current 5-3-2 formation being asked to sit deeper in a midfield that’s totally overwhelmed and over-ran week in week out.

    Just a thought

Cash in on Nuttall, if possible. Lavery is decent and better still in a better side. If, as suspected, Butterfield is the highest current earner – let him go if anyone bids £80k+.
If anyone truly believes that he’d show his best in a better side – scrap that idea.
    Ogle – keep.
Boyce has had it rough in that defence – pretty sure that he can be better than is showing at present.
I said not to keep Beestin at the end of last season. Will continue to feel that way unless he shows his evident better qualities much more frequently in every game.
Disappointed in so many but being a young player in a rapidly plummeting team is unlikely to have you showing your best.
Obviously, we’ll need to keep Hallam. Just in case.
