    Donated and shared.

It may be pissing into the wind but at least it feels like doing something!

Great to read all of the messages of support on there. My Bradford City mate has just messaged me to say he’s chipped in.

Let’s hit that target before the day’s out!

We’ve just donated. Just think if we could keep this going and reach a figure enough to tempt Swann to let us keep our stadium, and we supporters run our Club like Lincoln City did with their club.

    Bravo on the fundraiser.
But, ain’t the wage bill (down to) about £80k a month?
    £26k raised so far… we’re a long way short.

The club staff must be first priority, the players will have the PFA to lean on for support.

Hope they will have the PFA to lean on IA but I’m not sure all our squad is signed up at our level? Hope they all are though.

Butterfield cements himself as legend status for that alone. Well done, lad. Hope he gets a rapturous applause tomorrow.

I coughed up earlier, hopefully the amount raised shows any potential new owner the depth of feeling towards SUFC. Fingers crossed for the future.

Done. You can take the boy out of Scunny but you can’t take Scunny out of the boy. Supporter for 63 years, how has it come to this?

I’m a Mariners fan and have seen over the last few years how much you have had to endure, it gives me no pleasure in seeing staff not getting paid due to incompetence from your former owners so making a donation to your fundraiser was the least I could do. UTM

It is very humbling the donations from across football but particularly from Mariners fans and their club owners.

Hilton out. There, I’ve said it !

Even Stuart Maw appears to be finally have seen the light with Wham. Not a nice video to watch tbh, the bloke is visibly shaken.

The impact of this club folding will be devastating.

We all need to keep sharing as far and wide as possible over the coming days and weeks. Keep thinking of new people and outlets that have reach. Key message is its for our staff and players who have been royaly shat on.
