Team won the last game and are pretty much safe from relegation. All quiet on the Swann front.
Forum is only busy when we have something to moan about.
We often seem to forget to turn up against what is usually a bang average Crawley team. That would get things moving again.

…. wheras on the Cods forum it’s completely the opposite from, shit traitorous chairman, shit manager, shit tactics, shit players, no heart no passion, planning routes to non league grounds next season, worst team ever, deserve to go down, fans deserve better. Then, new board taking over, new optimism, new ground, new town regeneration plan, we will be back better then ever etc etc. Phew it’s a real bag of fans bollocks on the fishy forum but then again they are DOOMED and that’s the reason it’s busy.

Understandable given the circumstances mentioned, no match, nothing to play for and no transfer window. It doesn’t help that the SUFC Twitter is only interested in selling match passes, replica kits and face masks, personally I’d like to know if Onariase will be fit for Friday and if we’re trying to get any summer OOC players on new contracts which might give us something to talk about. The ongoing lack of any relationship between the Club and the Telegraph means another possible source of information is not available to fans.

People have little to discuss.
As usual any press releases only draw comments and not involvement from fans.
The pre match or post match manager comments are much of a muchness, and names changed to protect the innocent !!
Most do fear the recruitment will be no different. Our released list will be big and sadly we will lose those who have not had a chance because of those 2 yr deals to some who are simply not league standard.
The style of play will not encourage people to return and it appears a plan that is acceptable to decision makers.

we will probably get to know more when our chairman comes back from building a new Hotel and Night Club on the Planet Mars, mobile reception isn’t very good from there at the moment.

Nice to see a post from a scunny fan earning post of the week on fishy forum, can’t agree with the sentiment though, has much it’s nice to have rivalry they mostly come out on top, haven’t even won against them in the fa or League cup, so if they achieve non League status again I will rejoice in it.

We all have our own opinions as to why. Many have tried to move things forward but to no avail.
When the gates are open to supporters I cannot see Scunthorpe fans flocking back. Others will see big increases in their gates I am not sure Scunthorpe United will.

I watched the Poland game and realised just how few England players I knew anything about.
I occasionally watch a Premiership or Championship game and before the match, in most cases, I cannot even recognise half the players. Modern football holds little appeal.Mrs LesGeo said to me that she had seen how little interest I seemed to have in football now. Indeed, I only half watch games these days – usually while I am reading a book; shuffling my MP3s; cataloguing photos; phoning friends etc.
Following the Iron is a totally different matter. That’s not really football, is it?

When I watched that game I realised why Man City are streaks ahead of the rest of the pack this season.
Sterling, Foden, Stones – their decision making was poor on Wednesday. Yet when they have Pep bellowing out the instructions they look world-beaters.
