I’m sure we are most of us aware of the short poem about ignoring the little things, which end up having a very large effect?
I noted in a couple of threads that pies have, once again, been mentioned.
Perhaps, had those who belittled and mocked the concerns of other supporters, had they instead shown Swann that supporters actually matter, we would not now be where we are: labelled morons, sidelined and ignored.
I sincerely hope I’m wrong but I foresee real problems for Swann and Co if the dire football offered up drives down crowd numbers next season.
He already has all the club’s assets. What will he take to cover his next set of losses?
And will we be looking back in a couple of years, wishing we had made our feelings clear a bit earlier?
If only…..as they say.
We’ll be in want of a few for nailing down the lid on Scunthorpe United’s coffin.
Personally Alcy, I think the debt will be kept down now. Does it really matter to him what revenue is generated from the club itself? The profits are going to made from property development aren’t they? I’m not convinced falling gates and dropping down the non leagues are too much concern for him. Agree with the rest of the post though.
