Quote from Guy Branson Leicester loans manager. ‘I know Peter Swann, I know his family. He wants to be heavily involved in recruitment, and it hasn’t really worked out. The players Hilly will have to coach aren’t going to be anywhere near the level he’s expecting. Hopefully he can manage that situation in January and I’d urge Peter to take a step back and let him get on with things.

Here here. Let’s hope Swann is taking note !

Well this contradicts everything Swann has said – who would have thought that.

If he is to be correct which I have no doubt as to why he’d be lying anyway, this backs up what we’ve thought to be the case.

Swann needs to take a back seat and let a real footballing man make the decisions. In Hill and his success at this level, I highly doubt there are many much more qualified than he is to get the right people in.

If he meddles in Jan then he’ll sink the club. I don’t think Hill would allow it to be honest, if Swann would try that Hill would just walk and then tell everybody why he’s gone, he strikes me as that type of character.

I suspect Hill would have been given assurances about him having complete control and the football side of things or he wouldn’t have even come but I suppose Swann had promised Hurst certain things but appeared to move the goalposts.

I just hope he’s learned his lesson now. Hill did say the other day that he’s got complete control of the club so least if he does fail he will only have himself to blame so seems like he has the control which a manager should have.

    Fingers crossed !

I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if Hill leaves before the end of the season. I think he’ll improve us on the field but I don’t know if it will be enough.

WG, you really are banking on Hill aren’t you?

    I hope you’re right.
    I think you’re wrong.

Well, yes, but I meant he’s optimistic that Hill both can, and will, sort the mess.
    I’m not.
I don’t do optimism…been disappointed too many times in my life.

Sounds as though no signed contract.

    So consequences must be known.
