On the way! Three or four already through the door. Wouldn’t get too excited though.
August 1, 2020 at 10:13 am #192701Even if not inspiring it will make a change to have the bodies in the building before pre season starts.
August 1, 2020 at 10:48 am #192704Isn’t August 1st our usual signings date?
August 1, 2020 at 10:50 am #192705When does pre season get underway?
August 1, 2020 at 11:12 am #192710The players report back to the club on Monday.
August 1, 2020 at 11:24 am #192711Thanks Stuart. Maybe a new manager to go with them!
August 1, 2020 at 11:32 am #192712Call me old fashioned, but I’d prefer the new manager to be in place before seeing any new signings.
If Russ is back with the U23s and Turnbull has left the building who is making the decision on new players?
Slightly concerned 😕
August 1, 2020 at 11:40 am #192713Well if we are not announcing signings he must be either embarrassed or he knows the fans won’t say wow.
August 1, 2020 at 11:59 am #192716Getting a raft of new players in without a managers say so…we’ve been here before. Yet another manager will be here with players he probably won’t fancy.
They can’t have been great, Wilcox has probably seen who they are and has quickly moved down back to u23’s.
Why don’t I feet great about what’s going on at the minute ?
Deja vu, anybody ?
August 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm #192719Couldn’t agree more with NI, can’t ‘Thank’ or ‘Like’ but I could have written the same thing. Spot on.
August 1, 2020 at 12:01 pm #192720it may be a cunning plan to run the club down and make Glanford Sands Siro Park into a housing estate.
August 1, 2020 at 12:03 pm #192721Well the houses will all have nice lawns!
August 1, 2020 at 12:06 pm #192722Call me old fashioned, but I’d prefer the new manager to be in place before seeing any new signings.

Why should this be of any surprise ?.
Did you not read the comments from McCall when he got sacked ?
August 1, 2020 at 12:06 pm #192723Swann playing football manager again – and failing again
August 1, 2020 at 1:20 pm #192735Big signings imminent, brace yourselves
August 1, 2020 at 2:44 pm #192740Said I was concerned, not surprised.
2/10 for comprehension.
August 1, 2020 at 3:02 pm #192741One could be a re-signing, possibly announced tomorrow, but he thanked Conor and Charlie for helping to fund them.
August 1, 2020 at 3:07 pm #192742Probably Brown??
August 1, 2020 at 3:21 pm #192743James Horsfield!!, though not impossible Brown.
August 1, 2020 at 9:43 pm #192768Northumbiron, slightly concerned ?. This crap has been going on for ages…it’s the norm.
This clubs been a shambles for some time. Swann and co have had their hands in transfer dealings now for some time. I knew the writing was on the wall after McCall spilled the beans that time in his last interview with Hullberside.
The days of being concerned should be long gone. Most people have become desensitised with all the bullshit.
August 2, 2020 at 10:22 am #192780Dont recognize “this club as been a shambles for some time” one relegation and a mediocre season last year, Hurst had started to get us in the right direction but that doesnt make us a shambles.
August 2, 2020 at 10:26 am #192781I thought the last 2 seasons have been shambles.
August 2, 2020 at 10:34 am #192782when i think shambolic i look at a club like Sunderland.
August 2, 2020 at 11:20 am #192783Sunderland have thirty-odd thousand fans to help them out.
We don’t have that luxury!
August 2, 2020 at 11:51 am #192794Big signings imminent, brace yourselves
They must be tall then !!

Blimey, you must be one of lives eternal optimists.
August 2, 2020 at 5:06 pm #192809Would like to see us sign Harry McKirdy released by Carlisle,Unless he fixed up elsewhere already, not checked
August 2, 2020 at 5:37 pm #192810Nothing to do with been optimistic, just my opinion that it wasnt a shambles, seen lots of relegations and just moved on.
August 4, 2020 at 12:22 am #192839High turn over of managers
Managers seemingly don’t even have control on what players arrive
Contract fiasco which just about pissed off the whole squad a few seasons ago
The long running Swann stand off with the council, mud slung back and forth
Signing players last minute before the deadline, seemingly very little planning and not far off going downIf it’s not been a shambles, it must be awfully close.
August 4, 2020 at 8:12 am #192845The signing would have been in conversation with the club for over a week, it didn’t all just happen yesterday morning,,,, Wilcox maybe did have input as he was actually manager last week,,,,
