where has the for gone? fans just seem flat
I’m sure you know what the meaning of the post is, unfortunately I really don’t.
Care to explain?
not sure what it wrote “for”
I’d beg to differ a few weeks post a 7,500 crowd.
There’s definitely Been a blip in enthusiasm since Tamworth have run away with the title but the club seems to have support from the community unlike at any other time I can recall.
Yep agreed CBRP, since the local consortium took over and saved the club the enthusiasm and atmosphere surrounding the Iron has been fantastic.
Certainly wasn’t flat in the Cheshire cheese, and fair play without a roof the atmosphere around was quite good.
Aye, and you were there, was the OP?
Sadly enthusiasm is not JD’s forte and that period of mediocrity where a draw was better than a loss now yields “we are in the play offs so I will wait until then to then” attitude.
With the season ending fast approaching one hopes plans are well advanced for 2024/2025. The announcements must be inspiring.
Best for the last 6 games.
I’m so glad we have a club but I’ve lost a bit of excitement. I feel like we are just killing time waiting for the play offs to start.
I disagree P2.
If we claim 2nd place we have a pretty strong chance of promotion.
If we claim 3rd place we have a decent chance of promotion.
If we end up lower – the chances start to diminish.
‘All to play for’is exciting.
Well. Innit?

I’d suggest this is to do with pissing away pissing the league.

Hard to make plans when we don’t know where we’ll be next season; the budget will obviously be reduced but presumably the extent depends on which league we’ll be in?
Ferrite – would think on this occasion expenses will be the priority to bring financial stability.
There will be releases and recruits will not be on the same levels of pay but that doesn’t mean our quality will be lower. Our wages may still be higher than many clubs even in the National League.
