Too many bore draws (4 of them 0-0) and not taking the impetus.
Whitehall and Roberts are our only goal sources and now we are at 50% capacity.
The replacements fail to score or even impress at times, one even completely alters our game.
AB and JS no doubt after a massive kick up the jacksy managed to get us back into the throng, but have missed opportunity after opportunity to reclaim top spot or put real pressure on Chester.
Champions are ruthless and show mental toughness to grind out wins and overcome opposition no matter how they set up against you.
The record against teams in the bottom half of the table arguably show a desire not to lose rather than a desire to win.
We have lost less than Chester but drawn far more. Had two draws been wins we would be 3 points clear with a game in hand. Those three dire appalling 0-0 home draws need to be erased by beating the likes of Oxford and Rushall.
Next week we face Buxton who gave us an absolute lesson in football and exposed that fear and lack of mental toughness, in knowing then allowing their keeper to dictate the game without challenge.
Mental toughness then AB and JS, a comfortable win v Darlo and a win at Buxton to send a strong message to the division.
