Anybody know what’s going on with him ?. SST said he had heard he’d already gone back to which then Hilton said he hadn’t but something must have gone off, he can’t even make the squad.

I read an article on line the other day which mentioned he was scouted by 6 other premier league teams who wanted to sign him due to his Forrest contract running out, whether he signed another contract with them I’m not sure but to be looked at by that amount of teams and show promise in his first appearance and to not even make the squad…

Forest fans all seem to rate him.

I don’t know about you but that doesn’t add up, surely something must have gone on behind the scenes.

Back in the real world … fter the initial signing hype and subsequent positive comments there is something a tad strange re Fewsters total non involvement … injured perhaps ?

I find myself constantly waking up in cold sweats dreaming about Hilda Ogden and back to back Scunny wins .. i may need help as its always accompanied by a raging boner ..Maybe Jimmy is finding it hard also ………. his starting 11 what can get us out this mess.

Shields picked up a knock ..we were told .. Fewster not heard nowt, only silence.

If there is then that’s fair enough but if Fewster’s gone back and Shields is injured then tell us otherwise suspicions will be aroused and assumptions made.
Matchday squad is 16 so not everybody can be picked so there’s a get out anyway.

why is everything so cloak n dagger / secretive .. the fans should be informed re players at much as poss especially if being asked to part with nearly 2k in a share option ..

Jimmy confirmed in the last interview that Fewster was still at the club and that him, Taft and Shields had not made the squad.

Unlike many managers of the Swann era it seems Jimmy picks the team based on what he sees rather than who brought them to the club.

He is big enough to admit the likes of Wilson, Butterfield. Beestin and Pugh are better options than some of the new signings right now.

Keep it up Jimmy.

Has anyone noticed how Pugh has come very close to scoring in both of the last 2 games?

He never looked like scoring in his previous 20 odd games. Also Butterfield running about like a spring chicken all of a sudden.

Signs of some coaching and motivation happening?

We can but hope.

Tom Pugh has always had an eye for a shot but he does what the managers asks of him.

Cam Wilson is the man with the shot left or right footed, he really can make people sit up.

Have to respect the manager for sticking with Pugh and Wilson, he could have easily replaced them with shields/Fewster/Ferris.

Pugh seems to be excelling by getting forward more and driving into the box; I’ve never been sold on him but he’s putting in some solid performances of late.

All we need now is some confidence in the final third: take more shots, get more crosses in and start gambling more with through balls and runs. The Wrexham performance was good but we seemed to lack that cutting edge.

Dembie-Ferris didn’t impress when he came on.

Dembie Ferris seems to be a bit low on confidence at the minute, possibly adjusting to the next level. I’m sure it will click but seems reluctant to trust his own skill and pace at the minute.

Fewster still not making the squad, we’re talking about a player here not so long ago was being scouted by 5 premier league sides due to his contract running down at Forrest.

I find it a little strange that he can’t even make the bench as a back up for the no role Butterfield’s playing in. Little suspicious that SST comes out the the rumour he’s gone back, which was said to be false but hasn’t made the squad since.

I’d rather somebody at the club just came out and told the whole truth, we can ill afford to leave players of his ability out, we need all the help we can get.

People keep likening him to Ryan Yates, but he came here when we were in L1 and Forest were still a Championship team.

He also went to Notts County just before us when they was struggling in this league.
