He’s at it be again,
Posh bank think he’s not right fort them so offer him suitable alternative that is right , feelings hurt etc. Now he wants them to resign fort of responding to his accusationsJuly 26, 2023 at 2:45 pm #267598He won’t be satisfied till a proper right wing racist cabal are voted in as the replacement board, he’s got his main resignation, yes the bank were wrong, yes the government are looking at making legislation changes to stop this happening again, it’s time for Farage to STFUp but he won’t because he can’t.
July 26, 2023 at 3:34 pm #267599He’s done us all a service. Banks should be there to do banking …not social engineering. The behaviour of the ‘powers’ at Natwest/Coutts needed to be made an example of. I know of a vicar who responded to a Bank survey on how they were doing. He answered positively on the Banking stuff but expressed reservations about the flags and posters for Pride week. His account was closed. Last I heard he was challenging this so I hope the Farage fiasco helps him. I was in a queue at my high street bank and saw a poster stating that the branch ran 100% on renewable. There were no windmills on the roof nor solar panels ..no evidence of a heat pump ..or anything. I mentioned it to the clerk and the Manager came over. He was totally defensive stating that he didn’t know how it worked but the Bank would not put up a poster if it wasn’t true. I shrugged and got on with my banking …but I know what I think about it and I don’t like it. If it had been someone more ‘acceptable’ than Farage then I wonder if the last two posts would have been so critical. We need a society ..and crucial institutions within society like Banks .. to be impartial for all our sakes. Tell me it ain’t so.
July 26, 2023 at 4:26 pm #267605I just can’t believe a CEO would be so idiotic as to leak private information at a party. That is ludicrous and she had to go for that alone, never mind the talk about whether exclusive banks can exclude customers.
I think the problem is slightly more complex in that the report cited financial reasons after he paid off his mortgage, but personal views were included and that is dodgy. Though, given he was offered another account I am not going to lose sleep about the doom of UK freedoms.
July 26, 2023 at 4:31 pm #267606He’s still rattling on about being debanked so why not us?
July 26, 2023 at 6:02 pm #267614JI I have agreed Farage was treated badly and the Nat West CEO resigning was also correct but enough is enough on this one, measures are being put in place to address any issues like this are jumped on straight away in the future but Farage will keep going complaining he wants more resignations as long as he can keep his name in the news. Just for balance, he supported a baker for refusing to make a wedding cake requested by a gay couple because he was a Christian who didn’t approve of gay marriage, double standards?. Both instances were wrong but it appears balance isn’t an issue for some.

July 26, 2023 at 6:40 pm #267617Yes IA ..I agree ..you were certainly clear on the error and the resignation.
Personally I think someone at Coutts is more culpable than she was and should go.
I’ve thought alot about that gay wedding cake issue. The Baker was targeted to make a point. The message on the cake, as I remember, was ‘Support gay marriage.’ My view is that Govt should leave space for different and conflicting views. I don’t think, for example, a strongly atheistic Baker should be forced to make a ‘Jesus is Lord’ cake if he doesn’t want to. A private business isn’t the same as a Bank ..especially one partially owned by taxpayers. There’s not enough give and take nowadays..especially from social activists… and it’s not necessary.1 user thanked author for this post.
July 26, 2023 at 6:50 pm #267619I think others will not go because it is an exclusionary bank, while Alison Rose gossiped and gave away private info. That makes her position untenable, but others can maybe justify it a bit more and will have to do some training to prevent a repeat.
July 28, 2023 at 3:38 pm #267720NO ONE has lost their job or been arrested for the PPE scandal
NO ONE has lost their job or been arrested for the BILLIONS £’s lost as “fraud” during the pandemic
NO ONE has lost their job or been arrested for the tragedy of Grenfel Tower & the deaths of 72 people
But some twat had his bank account closed and heads roll.July 28, 2023 at 6:13 pm #267735Now that’s some rationale, 64. You might want to have another think about that logic.
July 29, 2023 at 12:27 am #267749I don’t believe he will have a rethink TBF it’s not his way
