As someone who has had a season ticket for the last 30 odd years it is interesting to receive a survey from the club asking all sorts of questions as to why I did not buy one this season.I am sure many of you have received the same.At least you can put in your real reasons,as to whether they take any notice remains to be seen.
October 26, 2021 at 3:31 pm #216485Is this Swann’s promised questionnaire?
October 26, 2021 at 3:49 pm #216489And what of those who aren’t/weren’t season ticket holders?
How’s he going to canvas our opinions?October 26, 2021 at 3:54 pm #216492He doesn’t know we’re we live Alcy.

October 26, 2021 at 4:36 pm #216505He knows where Alcy lives – remember the famous letter that the chairman couldnt be bothered to respond to. Unless of course Alcy forgot to put his address on it which would at least explain why he did not get a reply.

October 26, 2021 at 5:24 pm #216517If they are advertised to be handed out at the next home game that could put 2,000+ on the gate if everybody wants to have their say.

October 26, 2021 at 5:33 pm #216519Good to see the club at least getting something out there to receive feedback. Million dollar question is whether they actually do anything with it.
October 26, 2021 at 7:13 pm #216521They must have a database of online ticket transactions so have emails of most of the non-season ticket holders. That should be the next round of surveys / getting the casual fan back. I can tell you now Swann won’t like the feedback one bit

October 26, 2021 at 7:38 pm #216522He will have somebody to ‘correctly’ interpret the feedback no doubt.
What they said was ………………………
What they meant was ……………………..
ACTION required Mr Chairman not just words.1 user thanked author for this post.

October 26, 2021 at 8:38 pm #216530Anyone able to share the questions being asked? It’s always interesting to see what is being asked and, perhaps more importantly, what isn’t being asked.
October 26, 2021 at 9:49 pm #216543Unfortunately the email does not allow the receiver to pass on the survey to anyone else andI have tried.I think this is not acceptable

Me too, all season ticket holders past and present are on file going back a bit I’m sure. I haven’t had one since the first lockdown began in March 2020 but have sat in my old seat every home league game this season and when I get my ticket they still print my name on it and check the info on my address which is still on the club database.

I’m pretty sure that’s not true. How often have you signed up for something online and received endless emails about it afterwards? GDPR would only stop companies contacting you if you’d opted out of receiving marketing/emails, etc..
October 27, 2021 at 9:32 am #216555If the fat man was serious about this…and i mean serious, not just getting opinions from supporters who are more likely to speak favourably of the club, he’d make the questionnaire easily accessible.
WHY cant it be passed on?
Unless, of course, every one reveals who it came from…for future litigious use, perhaps?
Do I trust the guy?
Nope.2 users thanked author for this post.
October 27, 2021 at 10:48 am #216561Be very careful when answering on these surveys, Bradford screwed their fans over increasing their season ticket prices this year by 25% with an innocent survey, and our survey on the shirts was underhand, it wasn’t mentioned about a weighted vote on the home shirt, though I did get the shirt I voted for.

October 27, 2021 at 10:58 am #216562Well if Swanns answer after reading all the surveys is to put prices up then people who attend regularly now will definitely think twice about coming again. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I think you’ve put a “r” in there by mistake!

Is that true? I know Bradford have had very low priced season tickets in recent seasons, so presumably their prices are still well below ours?

RIGHT!!!!
October 27, 2021 at 2:57 pm #216582For the sake of all pity – don’t rant in the survey. It can and will be used against those who do – and those who don’t will still find themselves tainted by it.
Toned down, carefully argued, no ad hominem attacks.
Simple, straightforward, logical and without any sense of bitterness, please.
You know it makes sense!Abuse will NOT improve the situation. Politeness may not help but at least, it won’t make matters even worse.

Yes unfortunately Roy cooked his Mr Chips a long time ago, the smug Mulhern is a poor substitute.
October 27, 2021 at 4:34 pm #216594Yes Bradford season tickets are still cheaper than ours Ferrite, But they do sell alot and probably get 5 times more revenue than us before they put the prices up, it’s just the underhanded way of doing it, the survey asked keep the price at £150, or raise it to between £150 and £199 and £200 and over, 80% voted to raise it and the club come up with £198, so like I say be very careful when answering club surveys.

October 27, 2021 at 4:44 pm #216597It’s also worth mentioning Awaywego that Bradford sell a lot of tickets because they have a population of 530,000 to have a go at which is a slight advantage over us.

October 27, 2021 at 6:17 pm #216602There was no mention of increasing or reducing prices.I await with interest the next stage ??
