All the abusive Hilton fans are up in arms because the club won’t let someone break rules so that v they can surreptitiously take photos of kids and adults and post them online, they’re even banning people from their site for agreeing with the club

They call others snowflakes, but explicitly say they ban people because they don’t like what they say.

It’s been explained to them by James Moody why they can’t allow such photos on there, there’s nothing the club can do about it, and they aren’t going to risk repercussions for going against the rules for this. It’s just some bloke who took photos, yet some on there are more outraged than they ever were over Hilton, right up to the end.

There’s an assumption there was just one maybe two complaints but they have no idea how many complaints there have been. What sort of forum is it where the moderators delete sensible and justifiable observations but leave the abusive ones up and fuel a pile on? Same as it ever was. Like that during the Hilton era and the same now. No lessons learned, no humility, no grace. Sad.

See the group is having a collective meltdown again. I’m bemused and amused. What baffles me most is that some seem to think ‘United We Stand’ means everyone has to think the same and no one should have a different opinion on footballing matters. They’re missing a fundamental point of a forum – kicking about different ideas and views. Someone slags someone else, it all kicks off and someone else will post the equivalent of ‘calm down, calm down la!’, rinse and repeat. ‘Grandma Alexander’ made me laugh though.

Other than the fact he’s done them consistently, week after week, home and away, which should be applauded as a great achievement, the actual videos themselves are extremely dull. He doesn’t have anything insightful to say, and there’s not a lot of interesting content.

The Ironarmy guy made no such comment, it was the other guy from the podcast, Yorky who was barking out instructions to be classy when he’s the foul mouthed one on the podcast, they were all Hilton supporters so I take no notice of what they say.

Personally, I am all for moving on for the same of unity. However, I can’t help but notice the irony after Marco and Max regularly slagged off the Bru podcast for being ‘Swann lovers’ for the interviews of him, when their interview with Hilton was far more softball and now some have made similar accusations about them. Hopefully a lesson learned in how hard it is to interview such figures, and maybe they should have given Bru some slack in how they dealt with Swann.

Agree with Siderite; just find the ‘stay classy’ suggestion a bit rich given previous circumstances. I can understand why it riles some of our supporters in to reminding them of past actions, particularly those who got it in the neck the worst. People in glass houses and all that…

Garths vlog as run it’s course now and unless he can come up with a new format it wants binning. Score predictions, “for real” now we have diddle dongs telling us who is going to score, the old guy in the office “we’ll be right” sorry to tell you all your family have just been wiped out “we’ll be right Garth” up the iron.

I’m sure Awaywego that Gareth is told plenty off camera he can’t put out on the vlog and I’m sure he has a fair bit of editing to do before he posts it. Thing is if you start regularly questioning the manager and staff over team selection from fans and it’s regularly posted then Gareth might find his vlog is not required by the club in the ground and whilst I believe in free speech it’s not always appreciated in people’s faces week after week game after game, he may find himself banned. At the moment he appears to have a good relationship with Jimmy and his staff, that could change and the old Swann siege mentality could return, I don’t think anybody wants that and whilst some of the content is a bit twee at times I always think Gareth gives a pretty fair analysis of what is going on and wrong during the game. I think he should be left alone to get on with what he’s doing and as always if you disapprove then don’t watch it, it’s not compulsory.

It’s not for me awaywego but I tend to agree about your criticisms. That said, if enough people still like it and he still enjoys doing it then I’m sure he’ll decide whether to revamp it, refresh, whatever, or bin it.

Joe Richards vlog comes across better when he does one, even on garths he’s the best one on there, of course it’s all down to opinions will still watch them mind, I do like Cronie and Dave’s double act on there. By the way Garth is another of those nice persons.
