I want us to be in the first round proper, so no thanks to those three. Some lower team at home.

    Won’t matter.
We are “first round out” specialists.

So we might as well get someone who’ll bring fans for the income.

South Shields is a good shout well supported side would be a tough game but the joys of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay for the weekend would be worth it lots of decent beer to be found.

Im hoping the local Plymouth Parkway can overturn Oxford City and progress – but a hard ask. They are the Scunny version of Asby Ville (do they still exist?)
Just hope the Iron have a good run and take in some needed funds – be a bonus if they drew a South West club in the first round proper. UTI
PS great to see a 100+ at Torquay :)

Alcazar, didn’t you stop going to games ages ago?
Am only asking as your comment seems a bit ironic that you want a club that brings lots of fans, yet you don’t even go yourself!

Has anyone said we will beat South Shields? Most of us hope we will but this is football and a Scunny match to boot.

Ask us again after tomorrow mick.
Although it will probably be the same answer thinking about it.
We live in hope (It’s all we’ve got most of the time)
All those years we’ve dreamed about getting to the 3rd round of the FA Cup, now we’re hoping to get to the 1st round.

Yes, I won’t go again until the odious Swann family have PROPERLY severed all ties.

But why would it stop me wanting the club to make money🙄?

South Shields is a good shout well supported side would be a tough game but the joys of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay for the weekend would be worth it lots of decent beer to be found.

South Shields is a bit of a shithole. So if you’re looking for smart bars and craft beers you’ll be disappointed.

However, if you’re up for a cheap curry head for Ocean Road where you can fill your boots (The Spice Garden was always our favourite).

If you want to check out Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, fine! But you’ll have to either get the ferry across, use the pedestrian tunnel or head back into Newcastle then out again.

Sunderland is actually easier to get to, and that’s an even bigger shithole!

If you’re staying over stay in Newcastle and get the Metro out to Shields for the game and come straight back (or go for a curry then go back). It’s not a place that comes alive after dark.

Well, not in a good way!
