I felt a bit sorry for Loft as his support was zero and he got annoyed before he was substituted because our midfield gave him nothing
March 9, 2021 at 10:21 pm #203289Midfield? Not needed, when the balls flying over their heads from Howard for the whole match. I bet Howard had more kicks of the ball than any outfield player.

Wouldn’t even give him a mark. Alan Shearer in his prime would’ve been able to do nothing with what Loft was given tonight.
Eisa seems to have changed his mind from when he said he would give 100% till the end of the season. He can join McAtee for me if he carries on like this.
Swann needs to get on his knees and beg Gillead to stay. Ask him what he wants and give him it.
Exeter were a good side but the really didn’t need to be. Worst we’ve been for a good while.
Hope it’s just a blip.
March 9, 2021 at 11:17 pm #203293Newey said it and I 100% agree…Gilliead is the only player we have who can keep possession and play intelligent football when under pressure. Nobody else is good enough to do it, the best they can do is play the ball backwards to a player who then immediately hoofs it forward.
BS – very generous marks there. I’d struggle to give anyone higher than a 5.

March 9, 2021 at 11:49 pm #203294BigLeft Toe—–Christ pal don’t say that about Gilliead, I prazed him last week and got slaughtered !!!!!, I think very highly of what Newey says, I only wish he was our manager instead of that clown Cox.. Who would dream of making five chages to the team that had just gained 4 points from two difficult aeay games, and just about the FIVE BEST PLYERS the club has.
You ca bet your life that the best team will be out on Saturday, which gives me the feeling that Cox did not think that we could win todays game.
March 10, 2021 at 8:30 am #203297I must have missed something, when did passing to a teammate and shooting on target go out of fashion?
March 10, 2021 at 11:56 am #203316Just seen last night’s highlights on you tube, when you are shit you are shit end of. Great free kick by their lad and almost a repeat second half, think we are lucky not to have lost by five or six watching that short summary. Move onto Saturday quick. 😂
March 10, 2021 at 12:15 pm #203319Someone is inept in the decision making.

Exeter and Cheltenham have shown us how to play, even at this level. Pass and move. We seem to struggle to make more than 2 or 3 consecutive passes.
March 10, 2021 at 4:28 pm #203337I was on a late shift last night, so was only able to listen to the commentary. The only bonus is that I didn’t pay £10 to watch that shit.
Let us be clear. Resting our best players and forfeiting one game, in the hope of getting something in the next makes no sense whatsoever. I shall be very interested in the Leyton Orient match. If we get nowt from that, then the whole thing comes apart, and that is what may well happen.
Should have started last night with our best 11 and had a right go at them…

It did when Nige did it a St James’ Park eleven years ago next week. It kept us in The Championship.
But yes, anything other than a win on Saturday will make Cox look foolish.
March 10, 2021 at 8:50 pm #203349At home to a team not even in the play off positions is a slightly different situation don’t you think NI?. Surely should be aiming to win games like that rather than the following away match.

March 10, 2021 at 11:05 pm #203352Just an excuse to reminisce ‘tash.
March 11, 2021 at 9:15 am #203357It’s memories that make it all worth while NI thanks for the reminder.
