Does anyone know if supporters are able to use the Exec Lounge Bar before and/or after the game if they have tickets for the Family Stand? Just wondered if this was the case now that the bar under the stand has been closed?

doubt it, those paying for exce seating ain’t gonna be happy if the fan paying for std seating is allowed in there

It’s a non-league football club, not The Royal & Ancient!

Standards NI standards, there’s always the iron bar.

A few years back I went with a mate to watch Newcastle Blue Star play Bradford (Park Avenue) at Newcastle Falcons Kingston Park ground. They only had the main stand open, and at halftime we wandered in through the suite of lounges looking for refreshments.

Ended up in a large function room where we were offered hot or cold drinks and snacks for which we weren’t asked for payment. As we tucked into our tea and sandwiches we realised the staff thought we were BPA “executives”!

The free scran made up for the awful football on display. A 0-0 bore draw on a freezing cold night.

But your paying for exactly that, a nice padded exec seat?

Never mind it was just a thought, I was very surprised they shut the bar under the stand, it was always busy and must surely be more use as a money making bar than a store room or whatever its used for now?

Always best to check the fares from Barnetby, you can still get on and off at Scunny. As long as the route is permissable. UTWI

We managed to blag our way into the away end at Harrogate a couple of years ago without away tickets as it sold out.

Karma was a bitch that day.

Don’t recall ever having the opportunity to blag my way in to anything at a match, apart from nicking in to OSG a few times as kids via the garage behind DRE and Fox St via Hendy Ave school field (that one might have been aborted come to think of it!).

Oh, and jumping over the wall of the stairs leading up to the East Stand a few times when the steward was looking the other way. Great view up there!

East stand first cantilever stand in the world, can’t understand why it didn’t have listed status, made locally as well.
