Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t he playing in a different position now?
Didn’t he look his normal self in the recent but short-lived, back 4?

I like him,think he’s genuine too .Just not good enough

He’s definitely good enough, playing him LCB isn’t helping him… much more effective RCB or in the hideous system as the main CB.
He is possibly the best passer of a ball (especially long switching balls) in the squad

Ffs,he’s a center back .Sick of all this micro management of positions.Same in midfield ,number 10s etc FFS.

Best position for Evans is where he started the season, on the bench in my opinion.

His passing has declined massively this season, him and Boyce are awful together.

CBs looked pretty strong at start of season but …
Evans is simply not the player he was; Boyce is Boyce; Nicholson worries me big style; Max has been patchy.

Didn’t he sign a new contract, went downhill soon after as did Scales and Butler.

Very lucky not to have got sent off today, as was Nicholson tried ripping the shirt off the Marine player at a corner got warned and then did the same again should have been a penalty to them and game over.

I think he’s basically a decent pro but just not a good enough player.Id go into trenches with him but that’s not enough to win matches consistently
