“He is a prime candidate for a kicking.”
You have confirmed the point he was making in the video. If anyone needs a kicking it’s the knobheads (“working class Brits” as you call them) who decided the final was a great event to cause trouble.
Any chances of the real Brits enjoying another World Cup in this country in 1930 have been ruined by their actions.
Working class patriots? Nah. Effing dickheads!!! Round them up and prosecute them.
July 16, 2021 at 12:57 pm #210445Not sure when it was that right wing racists became the self appointed voice of the working class.
They certainly don’t represent me.

I know some say things like worker’s rights have regressed, but I didn’t realise time itself had.

The right love to make out that the working class are a homogeneous group of opinionated, politically incorrect, no nonsense, self-centred, opposed to anything which gets brought down to them from experts and slightly bigoted group who need to be pandered to or you’re being out of touch with the common man.
There is an element of truth to what they say in that the liberal left sometimes seem to be embarrassed about views held by ordinary folk outside of metropolitan cities. The views they describe as belonging to the working class exist, but they’re not the sole and only possible representative of that grouping. They’re not the brash stereotypes they love to make out whenever questionable views are called into focus. This is seen by the percentages of those who support lockdown measures, masking up and taking the knee, which are higher than those opposing. Yet the way the conservatives yap on one would think that everyone deemed working class is someone who can see through the point of masks because of their ‘common sense’ and unable to hold any solidarity with black people on taking the knee, because they see it as anti-white or Marxist.
This is true for some, but it’s not all, yet this group is all we hear about. It’s prejudice from those who want to take a patronising tone towards the ‘common man’ and treat them as if they’re a homogeneous bloc with no agency, all because they have their own agendas.

You don’t have to post antagonistic videos of some self loathing tosser making a monkey of himself, to wind up the gobshites on here.
As for the penalty takers, I’m sure all the players are good at the job and have had practice. But two of them were cold, in other words they hadn’t had enough time on the pitch to get their heads into the game. Bringing players on five minutes before the end of extra time, thinking they will be ready to take on the responsibility of a very important penalty shoot out didn’t work. The only person to blame for that is Southgate.

July 16, 2021 at 2:31 pm #210453To be honest the worst hooligans were those with tickets, 4 of them gave that Asian a good kick in, though I suspect they were only defending themselves from covid, after all they had been tested to gain admission, one man’s hooligan is another man’s supporter.
July 16, 2021 at 2:48 pm #210457I heard somewhere that those whom had forcefully and illegally gained entrance, were literally throwing genuine ticket holders out of their seats and taking them for themselves. Looks like England hooligans have stooped to a new low. 👎
