Still one game to go, but so far so very good. Rice has shown over the last 2 games why he is in the side, Walker was brilliant as the last man at the back when the Danes came forward, and Kane last night was the full Premier League version!

I think var had been great in this tournament it’s being used exactly how we should be using it.

If the ref hadn’t given a pen it wouldn’t have overruled either to give one. It has to be a clear and obvious error to change the decision.

Denmark were not a bad side. Italy struggled against Austria. I am sure if we do beat Italy they will change from being world beaters to average for many.
