After listening to Dean after the game, he came across as having no clue on what to say when answering the questions, tro state that when you are down at the bottom nothing seems to go for you, and that Scunny bossed the game, even being at home and not having one single shot in the whole of the first half, and Scunny had many chancesa but cxould not put any of them away. The commentators stated that Scunny should had a lot of luck to be only 0-1 down, and the game was calling out for wide players easpecially when Eastley only had 10 men for half the game. Sorry to say but this man does not appear to be the answer to the terrible position our club is now in, the club has far too many players on their books, and very little idea on what each other are doing.

How the hell the 3,400 keep attending is really a shock, because same as Cox says, it is difficult to sit and watch this team, and poor sods have another 90 mins to be served up with on Tuesday, iut was stated when Dean was appointed that he set up his teams to play attacking football with wingers, the wingers are ewither on the bench, or cannot get into the squad, God help the club!!!
As for the £1,899 being on sale, they will be left with 1,800 not sold, especially with Swanns company still owning the stadium and land!!!!

The thing what worries me is that Dean didn’t think to himself “what happens if this doesn’t work and need to resort to 4/4/2”, if he did then Shields would have been on the bench.

Dean could have gone 4/4/2 with Wilson on the left and Feeney on the right but clearly couldn’t spot the fact we had no width. What was the point in going out and signing what looks like a good, pretty well rounded target man at 6ft 4 if you don’t play with width and you don’t get hardly any balls in the box ?

Looks like he’s hell bent on playing a target man but doesn’t set the team up to play as if we’re fielding one, which is a bit strange. I honestly don’t know what he’s trying to do. Perfect time today to let the shackles off and play with more conviction with them going down to 10 men and yet Dean went into an ultra conservative shell.

I do wish the new chairman stuck with Nelson.

Appreciate he’s trying different ways to get the best out of a team still trying to understand each other, but one of those ways has to be right soon. Really gone backwards following Dagenham and Wrexham. He should watch those games again.

just watched the highlights (didnt take long) by no means taking anything away from what was a terrible performance in all ways possible buy the Iron but the Eastleigh penalty was very dubious and with Scunny having two legitimate shouts for pens waved away by the ref who in my opinion was as bad as all the players on the pitch ..VERY POOR.

Pretty much nailed on for the drop even though other results went our way again yesterday.. 5 games into Jimmy Dean reign and its not going to plan is an understatement with possibly too many players to choose from and how to use them correctly can be an issue where as a smaller squad as Nelson was working with means a set line up forged relatively quickly and less chopping and changing led to better football.

Going down with a whimper more likely than a fight tho its not over yet and a miracle is still possible.

They’ll count all the season tickets until the season end, just like before if people show up or don’t.

Think we will get 2,500, at best next season.

    Decent crowd for that level.

Can see it being higher, especially if we are winning more games

Regardless, why would we be part time with 2k crowds?
