For how many years now has it been blasting people out of their seats?
I’d wager that some fans don’t go because it hurts their ears.

When the feedback starts on the PA I half expect some heavy metal to follow, sadly it’s somebody attempting to give half time scores in distorted tones. les is right it’s absolute pants.

    Hoovers are vacuum cleaners.

Might aswell mention the scoreboard they were ” hoping” to get repaired, even though it’s probably beyond repair due to its age. See if Neil can give an update on that too.

Manual scoreboard like back in the 60s & 70s with big old letters & numbers?
    Cheap as chips.

Yes Les, it really is an annoying sound, but when you say that you think that some fans don’t go because it hurts their ears, this is possibly over the top Les, I would wager that there are a lot more supporters that do not go “because the so called football served up hurts their eyes”, so surely more hurt eyes than ears, and certainly many with tears in them!!!!!

We should get the company that makes the super duper ones in Premiership grounds to give us one and rename GP The Scoreboard Arena on a three year deal. We won’t let on the ground could be knocked down in 15 months for a new housing estate though.

I do wonder who needs a scoreboard in a football ground. A clock of course if useful but a scoreboard?

Handy for those that go into the Iron Bar after 35 minutes and come out after 55 though.

Any chance or a scoreboard that occasionally ends a game with a higher number after our name than the opposition?

Probably costs extra but I am prepared to contribute.

Was it Les’ work to get the west stand fire alarm to go off? Just so the posh seats could get an idea of his suffering in the east stand?

You are way behind times Cass, plans for the new Stadium, and also the second new Stadium fell through after Swann fell out with the contractor and then the NLCC. Have you not heard that Swann is now going to refurbish the existing ground, you really must keep up with the Chairmans plans Cass. The refurb will be starting when the club is established in the Championship——I to must be having a senior moment ha ha!
