1-1 for Huddersfield at Luton in the first leg, now with home advantages. Duane Holmes was man of the match and could be in the Premier League next season.
Good luck to the lad. :-)
Aye, Huddersfield certainly got the dregs left at the bottom of the barrel when they signed him on transfer deadline day.
One of my favourite players during his tenure. Was he one of many luxuries we couldn’t really afford though?
Great player. Always played full on with positive intent and kept going even when things were not working for him.
No surprise he has continued to do well.
Forgot to add Deery he was probably one of the few Swann era players we made a profit on. We certainly got value for money from him and you can’t say that about many.
Agreed MKI. I have no idea what sort of salary he was on but he was part of the era of the debt racking up. However, I know there’s more to it than the black and white of balance sheets, player budget v debt. It’s the way the club has been run into the ground in general, including, in big part, the wider recruitment and transfer picture.
