I do believe it is McMahon and Muzzy today, as they have been taking training all week.

On this occasion the right thing to do. Best wishes to them. Certainly looks a team with more pace at the back.

So we lose 0 – 1 (own goal) to a L1 team, albeit not the best in that division. I don’t think Keith has had the time to have much involvement in this, and five subs makes me wonder if this match was an attempt to show what is our best eleven.

Methinks that after a week of training, and our new manager fully involved, we may well see a different Iron next week.

    Here’s hoping. – UTBI.

    We had more shots
on our own goal than we did the oppositions so he’s got something to work with.

Mr Hill has his work cut out,he will have seen what the fans have seen all season,a promising first half then the team disappear, midfield really good first half, second half completely useless, and surely now he can see that scrimshaw cannot hold the ball up and runs around not really ever affecting a game a luxury player that will not get you anywhere, midfielders that concentrate for 90 odd minutes and another striker that can put defender’s under pressure and two hard working wingers who can put the ball in the box instead of having players who are happy keeping possession as long as they play it BACKWARDS, you win games putting the other team under pressure, concede midfield and 9 out of 10 games you lose, not alot to sort out mr hill, good luck,up the iron.

See Bunn wasn’t involved for long again. Think him and Hallam need to go.

What was the view of the disallowed penalty shout from behind the goal, from our position it looked like their player grabbed him but I think the ref thought Hippolyte grabbed him.

I thought we passed the ball well at times but then gave it away/ fell over the ball/ over run it, I think today and Tuesday are a good benchmark for the manager and McMahon is highly involved, so it was a OG, wasn’t sure from our seat area but not surprised.

You can also see why Rovers are struggling and there wasn’t a lot between them, pity Jarvis missed that chance.

Unless he is injured Onariase should always start. Taft was awful today, can’t think of anything he did well. Watson kept us in the game yet again, hope he gets the respect from some posters on here who jump on every mistake he makes. Our passing and decision making leaves a lot to be desired and why we always look to pass backwards I just don’t know. Hill must be wondering what he has taken on.

You watched the game I did Jackie, they always look to go back every time, hope Mr Hill will coach that out of them very soon, Watson did play really well again, not a penalty from where we were stood, neither was it a foul either, Loft should be on the half way line then he wouldn’t be scoring an own goal. And how the hell did Jarvis miss?

Bunn out of contract in 2022. But Jordan Hallam got a 2 yr deal !! And we wonder where money is wasted.

That’s not far enough Matty. Please take Green with you when you go.

Another good performance from Hackney today. Wood did nothing when he came on.

How we need a Bishop type character to lead good prospects like Pugh and Perry.

Rovers were the better of two very poor teams. It’s going to be hard work but I hope you succeed Mr Hill.

We need a Bishop type character that plays more than one game in ten!

One thing Hill did say post match was that he wanted us to press and we managed it for 30 minutes, in other words the team is nowhere near fit enough.

I wonder what Cox was doing with them because we’ve seen it all season where we manage to look good in spells and the teams legs just go.

Very odd. I said above Hill hinted we aren’t fit enough so good luck to the players, I have a feeling he’s going to flog them something rotten in a bid to get them up to speed.

Let’s face it….they certainly need it.

I don’t care if it’s league two, your team should not press properly at a high intensity and be cream crackered after 30 minutes.

Maybe pace at he back Sanfran, but absolutely nothing up front, the captain was injured during warm up prior to the start, Bunn who has been out injured all season lasted 21 mins before again going off injured, Loft cannot hit an open goal, but keeps his place because of the others being just as bad, how can things get better with the forwards we have on the books.

I firmly believe barton that if we’re properly organised and get decent quality into the box Scrimshaw and Loft will score.

I think Loft has already moved on in his own head. Didn’t he say not long back that he was looking to move on in January ?

If we get the CM pairing right then we’ll be a step closer. Hackney to be fair to him is stepping up though.

Out wide is the problem though. I wouldn’t go with Hippolyte on the left. I’d either go with Wilson on the right and stick Green on the left or move O’Malley up one and stick him on the wing.

Hippolyte did fairly alright in CM but you can’t play him out wide, he’s dreadful.

What do you say about Bunn ?. Complete piss take, not his fault he’s a crock but he needs moving on in Jan for somebody who’s actually able to stay fit.

Is Kenyon crocked again ?. I read he played 70 mins in that behind closed doors game the other week and yet he’s wasn’t even involved in the squad.

When you stand back and look at the loan signings and crocks that have come into the club it makes you wonder who sanctioned these deals and were the players checked out medically and to a certain extent rated at all for their talents… Bunn Kenyon amongst others need shipping out ASAP.
Re yesterday ..first have was decent .. second useless , in truth probably a good chance for Hill to see waht hes working with 555 .. a cup run would ov been nice but not overly bothered we are out.

ironarmy Gareth summed it up well on his YT channel…always follow his vids.

IMO Loft just waiting to leave , others on longer contracts just taking the piss i really hope
Hill can find some way of turning things around as IF thats IF we go out the league it could well be years before we return looking at the strength and money NL clubs now have at their disposal.

Maybe get the youngsters ( Wilson etc ) in cos at the mo their are only 4 or 5 players who should be pulling on the shirt come match days.

No confirmation what Swann has promised Hill on a budget to bring in players now (free agents) or in January but its a fact there are plenty that need to leave.

Next league fixture will be very interesting to see not only the line up but if the players chosen show any change in desire or effort.

I just cannot see it changing enough to save us.

    Hope I’m wrong…

The next fixture he may as well play the likes of Wilson, Gallimore & Co. it’s a free hit for him really.

Cannot believe Manny was going to be a sub for Davis… MOM by far he won everything!

Taft what on earth has happened to him absolutely shocking most passes he made were back to Watson I suppose that’s better than giving it to the opposition.

Wilson NEEDS to be given game time what have we got to lose?

On the plus side O’Neill couldn’t get onto a 9 man bench!

Their manager reckoned they should have won by 5 or 6 and were far superior in the second half, to be honest I thought they were better than us but only just but we didn’t look like scoring very often but missed one sitter, probably the worst Rovers team I have seen since they went out of the league and nearly went bust, so showed how bad we have become, and I have seen us play a lot worse than yesterday this season, on top of that we scored for them.
