Because that’s what the maths gives us unless something changes.

You can win a frame in snooker with just 22 points (mathematically).

Do teams stay up knowing that a ten point deduction could be imminent or even before the season ends?

It depends if 4 teams get fewer points, surely you can work that out?

Dropped back down to 36 points after the Maidstone game.

    Teams were relegated with:

    2017-18 Woking 48 pts
    2016-17 York 50 pts
    2015-16 Halifax 48 pts
    2014-15 Alfreton 45 pts
    2013-14 Hereford 52 pts

I can’t see where the next win will come? April 1st v Torquay?

It appears that the writing is on the wall !

If we are in the NLN next season, then we should consider that the following teams were relegated with the following points totals:

    2018-19 Ashton 35 pts
    2017-18 Gainsborough 46 pts
    2016-17 Worcester 35 pts
    2015-16 Lowestoft 46 pts
    2014-15 Colwyn 46 pts

Regardless of league, 50 points should ensure safety?

Do teams get relegated when Swann is the Chairman!!!!!!!

Well that doesn’t apply anymore seeing as his title is purely owner, when he was chairman we were both promoted and relegated.

    35 points?

It’s now starting to look as if we will be short of that figure!

Because that’s what the maths gives us unless something changes.

After today’s Boxing Day game, we are now heading for 30 / 31 points.

Will we end up with fewer points than last season lugubrious total (26 pts)?

32 points if we keep amounting the same PPG.

If we don’t incur any points deductions then to get to 50 points (safety), we need 31 points from the remaining 19 games.

6 wins and 13 draws from the remaining 19 games gets us those 31 points.

    or

    W10 D1 L8

    Neither will happen.
    Sadly.

If Yeovil beat Altrincham on Saturday, then they move on to 30pts.

    So what?

That means four clubs will be within touching distance of 32 points – leaving only Oldham (currently on 24 points) with work to do.

As we seem (PPG) to be heading for 32 points this season… the end is nigh.

Which’ll come first? Sale, Administration or Relegation.

    Photo finish?

Teams still to reach 35 points:

    Maidenhead United 33 pts
    Yeovil 32 pts
    York 32 pts
    Oldham 31 pts
    Dorking 30 pts
    – – – – – – – – – –
    Gateshead 28 pts
    Torquay 26 pts
    Scunthorpe 23 pts
    Maidstone 22 pts

Tonight we are 7 points behind Dorking whom have a game in hand.

Another 5 games and everyone apart from the bottom four clubs should have hit 35 points.

    Alcazar’s maths is proving Nostradamusesque.

We’re still on to finish on 35 points.

Tuesday – Dorking & Yeovil are both at home and could eclipse 35 points.

    Tuesday could be THE day!

Because that’s what the maths gives us unless something changes.

Not this season, as the 20th placed team are now on 36 points and they have 12 games remaining.

    Teams were relegated with:

    2021-22 Aldershot 43 pts
    2020-21 Woking 33 pts

    2019-20 Ebbsfleet 42 pts (from 39 games)
    [Covid]:
only 3 relegated due to Bury’s demise and only one club being relegated from EFL L2.
End of season promotion & relegation determined by PPG.

    21st Ebbsfleet (R) 42 pts – 1.076 PPG
    22nd Maidenhead 41 pts – 1.078 PPG

    Ebbsfleet we’re heading for 49 / 50 Pts

Wrexham (20th & 43 pts) & Chesterfield (19th & 44 pts) were well and truly in the mix that season.
Who knows where they’d be if that season had run to its conclusion?

    2018-19 Aldershot 44 pts
    2017-18 Woking 48 pts
    2016-17 York 50 pts
    2015-16 Halifax 48 pts
    2014-15 Alfreton 45 pts
    2013-14 Hereford 52 pts

So the average number of points accumulated by the 21st placed & relegated club over those nine seasons is:

    46 points.

To be above the average (and hopefully safety) we need 17 points from the remaining 10 games.

    Six wins
    Five wins & 2 draws
    Four wins & 5 draws

Incorrect combinations and it’s adios amigo.

Four wins, five draws and only one defeat and we could still go down.

    Ultimate irony would be:
    4 wins, 6 draws, 0 defeats = 18 pts and being relegated.
    That’d be a killer!

I’ve said previously that FIFTY points is the magical figure in this league.

20 points needed from 10 games then.

7 wins = ‘piece of cake’ – Fawlty Towers.

    5 wins & 5 draws

    Qué será, será

So we just had a win, against a club that historically has never lost against us, and whom is not in the relegation places.

However we are all aware of the saying about one swallow and what not. So we should be hoping that the manager analyses the win, figures out what worked in that second half, and uses it again going forward.

We have the players now, much healthier competition. But they still should be starting with the best eleven.

Come on Jimmy Jimmy, let go of favoritism. Win matches the old fashioned way. With your best team.

My psychiatrist had a nervous breakdown 😂

All except the bottom four clubs have now accrued more than 35 points.

Let’s hope Saturday’s games go well for us.

We could have done with a game on Saturday following last nights win.
