There seems to be a certain type, GB news fodder, that are insinuating he killed himself and it’s the BBC,s actions in lightening his load at past retirement age is to blame. Awful people pushing an anti BBC agenda.
On a different topic I’m sure I detected quite a few sports journalists piling on Crystal Palace and their handling of Hodgson, kind of intimating they were to blame for his hospitalisation. The noise before yesterday was ‘yeah, Roy, nice bloke but football’s moved on and so should he’. Might be exaggerating, but that’s how it came across. Almost like they were washing their hands of their previous lack of sympathy
