Or you could stand.
That’s isn’t the point Awaywego TBF and you know it. Not all people can or want to stand and that’s why they pay extra for a seat compared to standing. I sit at home games through choice but invariably stand at away games depending on the ticket allocation but some people need to sit every game. Surely the whole point is the ground should be prepared in the correct manner to ensure comfort and cleanliness for all supporters. The club are failing in their duties and are letting their fan base down while expecting people to turn up in numbers to swell the coffers, it’s just bad practice all round from SUFC.
Or you could stand.
If you’re young enough or don’t have other issues that prevent you from standing for a couple of hours.
And I think Iron64 makes a very valid point about the opposition seeing the state of the place as they approach. They must think ‘here’s a club who clearly don’t give a toss about the ground, and everyone says they’re hopeless on it too. Let’s batter them and get out fast!’. Also what sort of inspiration does it give to Cox and the squad? Must be disheartening.
These aren’t minor gripes, they effect the very fabric of the club, it’s mindset, attitude and outlook. ‘Shape up or ship out’ springs to mind.
Come on Ironawe you know I was taking the piss, but seriously vote with your feet and don’t go, or climb into the executive seats or directors seats, like someone else said they will be clean then you will see a response if you refuse to move. We sorted the seating out when at Walsall when they tried to put us in the corner instead of behind the goal, and that was all fans not just the young uns. Stop moaning everyone and bloody do something about it.
