I can’t see any talk of no payment elsewhere.

I really don’t know why anyone is taking any of this seriously. Swann has gone, and now we have all these recently opened accounts posting this trouble causing shit on here.

I’m sure everyone got paid, and Mr Hilton is doing a good job with our Scunthorpe United…

They have all been paid according to Simon Elliott, a glitch on the clubs Account limit that the Chairman has now paid out of his own funds and now sorted with the Bank so it doesn’t happen again.

Did they deserve getting paid this month?

    Players – mostly no!!
I like the idea of Performance Related Pay for players, that would sort out what we’ve been served up lately.

And managers ……. i know they are some what on PRP already as if the team dont win in most cases managers are sacked ..but they still get their pay and contractual payoffs..ask Rafa the king of the early bath brown envelope.

Is it reasonable to ask why Simon Elliott is explaining in detail what happened with the wages yesterday? I’d ask on Twitter but don’t want to run the risk of being doxxed by a burner account. Anyone on here know?

Because he could and wants to nip the toxicity in the bud.

I asked if anyone knew, not what they thought they knew.

Bit touchy there Deerey It’s a footy forum where posters give opinions, “if” only posters posted on what they actually knew.

Nah, not touchy mate. Glad you’ve decided to treat Simon with a bit more respect. Good stuff.

Never doubted St Simons love of Scunthorpe, just his ability to get the club bought. Though at one point, we’ll probably at more than one point he said they had. Even got the photo to prove it lol.

Has any explanation been given regarding the payroll issue? I see Simon Elliott has said a lot without actually explaining what the issue is. He’s even suggested a supporter doesn’t know what he’s talking about yet Elliott appears to be in the same boat!

When an estalished business transfers to a new banking provider, they will want to know the level of business which will be going through the account, payroll size, average transaction value as well as a host of other things to understand your requirements and to ensure the switch is as smooth as possible.

To suggest Friday’s blip was due to a new bank account or a daily payment limit is not really a valid reason.

Full marks to Iron Insider, first with the news again.

Simon only relayed what David told him (said he’d spoke to him). I guess supporters accept that explanation or not? Nothing else to go on.

It’s nothing new. Club owner/director uses a third party, usually an individual with some standing with the intended audience to convey a message. If I was Simon, it wouldn’t be something which I would be getting involved in. Hilton has a mouth and so does the club.

Strange though, as Simon seems to have been frozen out by DH. Not shirt sponsor next season.
