Nowhere to go for the lad.
Another causality of ‘war’January 12, 2023 at 8:30 pm #252553A loss as we’re now down on numbers but he was shite, let’s be honest. I juts hope Foster stays fit.
January 12, 2023 at 10:34 pm #252561Well that’s one bit of good news, but not a lot of it about at our club.
January 12, 2023 at 11:46 pm #252568Hopefully the Sheffield united goalkeeper coaches work with him and he progresses with his career. A bit much for a young lad to come to a losing team, a senior professional goalkeeper is needed here before the same falls on foster,a lot of pressure on a eighteen year old playing in such a vital position in the team.

January 13, 2023 at 6:46 am #252573I would have thought we would be eligible for an emergency loan keeper despite the embargo?

January 13, 2023 at 9:33 am #252592Let’s not spend more money for someone just to sit on the bench, if Foster gets injured then bring someone else in on loan.
January 13, 2023 at 11:12 am #252607Just what I was thinking Pat!
Could have had Eastwood back but he’s gone on loan to Dale.

Not that one, the other one!

January 13, 2023 at 4:59 pm #252654He should be on the bench tomorrow I guess, good experience for him, match day and all but probably not the ideal choice if Foster gets injured.
January 13, 2023 at 5:00 pm #252655Too bad it didn’t work out for DEW. Wasn’t ready to carry the load in such a turmoil-y environment.
January 13, 2023 at 5:48 pm #252659…..or just not good enough, time will tell he is still young.
January 13, 2023 at 6:43 pm #252667We took the young keeper to chesterfield but he didn’t make the bench, why waste a sub when we all know at least 99% of games the goalie sub is never used.
January 13, 2023 at 6:54 pm #252669Yeah but you must remember the game of two broken arms??
January 13, 2023 at 8:05 pm #252680Dewhurst was cannon fodder in a plan set up by Will Swann and agreed to by those in charge.
Now we have a 1st yr pro as 1st choice and at the moment we have 2 1st year scholars as backups who are aged 17 and 18 !!
Then as an emergency Andrew Boyce has done it before [against Bristol City].
But Will Swann should be ashamed. He tried it the season before but the Coventry keeper got injured too early before they could get Rory Watson out !!
January 14, 2023 at 1:30 am #252706As said above, I wonder if we could get a GK in on an emergency loan ?
January 14, 2023 at 1:40 am #252709Don’t see why not if the NL play ball which is still being discussed as I understand it.
