When you took over the club you accepted to look after it, to protect it – You failed. At that first forum you said ‘that the Swanns would not be here forever but guaranteed that when you sold it that it would be better off financially than when you arrived – You failed. The club and its history trusted you PETER DENNIS SWANN – You failed.

Since the start you have treated the supporters/fans with contempt and maintained this attitude for seasons. Lost count of the times you said “while I pay the bills I will decide what happens” but actually the club paid the bills when you took all the land in exchange for what the club owed you. Although it had no choice in the chronic waste by overspending as you gambled the clubs existence.

In our last season in Div 1 many warned that relegation was looking possible your son called these concerned fans ‘Morons’, to date not an apology to them but we know why because you can’t admit failure – yet again. Fans have asked questions and the wall of arrogance ignored them. Any wonder they do not trust you.

Now it seems the end game is in sight and many fear 124 years of club history will end I hope you are proud. One thing many are now aware of you cannot be trusted and one hopes your future business dealings end badly.

While we’re at it, I’m glad your horse lost its race tonight (Dusky Prince beaten by Papa Don’t Preach).

I wonder how much of our money Swann had riding on that to win?

The stadium is bare – the result of the indifference that Mr Swann has continually shown to fans.

Have you put a bid in Brassy? Maybe you are one of the ” other interested parties ” being mentioned ?

Good post SanFran but he really doesn’t care. Only really cared when the written word contained libel which bore an opportunity. Look at the transfer policy, lots of has beens on big money for one final pay day… Only rarely happened in the past with a handful of poor signings but compensated by some of the fantastic signings like Beags.. Those days went and we were left with dross. Maybe we will never see such entertainment again, maybe we will. Don’t think it will happen in my lifetime but I witnessed some of the amazing moments and I’m grateful for that on my doorstep. Absolute tragedy what has been allowed to happen and looking back the signs were always there.

It’s too late now and we’re definitely going to drop down another league. Swann has made Fenty look like the good guy at Grimsby Town compared to himself.
The problem with the sale has been that Swann never put an asking price on the sale of our Club which says to me he has no intention of selling and its all been planned ever since he took our Club and assets and transferred then to his own company Coolsilk. What an abhorrence. He made sure it was done legally, or was it?Surely the FA, the EFL and the National League should be going through this and checking everything out with a fine toothcomb.
According to Gainsborough Trinity he left them debt free when they refused a new ground build which he wanted. But why then is he trying to wring every last penny out of our beloved Scunthorpe United. Is there vindictiveness in what he is doing? And if he is still planning to build flats and houses I can’t see that happening as you wouldn’t imagine any other business people would go within a mile of him now after his name is all over the media.
You wouldn’t think his planning application would still go through neither as the work if started would most probably never be finished and end up derelict.

It’s a little tight at the bottom of the NL, a few wins could see us out of harms way. Then and only then should we start making a plan for next season, the Gods all know we need one.

    Tight?
    Nah. We’re adrift.
We are five points behind the 19th & 20th placed clubs, whom both have THREE games in hand.
    Yeovil’s GD is -5 and Oldham’s is -8
    We’re on minus 22 !
Maidenhead & Dorking are a further one & two points in front of us, both with a game in hand.

Bromley on Saturday will be tough, very tough.
    I’m expecting a 0-2 or a 1-2 to Bromley.

If we get lucky, we might sneak a point.

Sorry to burst the micro bubble.
