1) Play your best team.
2) Play positive football – 11 man back for free kicks and corners is anathema to Iron fans. Leave a man up!
3) In similar vein, defending deep is seldom appreciated, irrespective of circumstances.
4) Defensive football as your go to response will see you lose your job sooner rather than later.
5) Please employ straightforward tactics – nothing too advanced 4-4-2 is always popular at the SVS.
If you haven’t been told this in advance of signing, this is the best advice you’ve been given. (Please bear in mind, we want you here for a long time!)
Dear John,didn’t know as fans we have a rule book for the manager to follow, Do the players have rules to follow as well, like give 100% at all times, accept you are a employee and must respect the managers decisions.If the players can do that you will get the support of most fans.
