Chalk & cheese!
Our Nige was a professional for 13 seasons and was educated at Liverpool FC Youth set up.
336 career appearances.
Played in the hardest position on the pitch and obviously saw more of the games over those years than the combatants in open play.He was manager of Bangor City for 3 seasons, winning the Welsh League in 93-94 & 94-95.
Those successes saw Bangor experience European football.1 user thanked author for this post.

April 8, 2023 at 1:22 pm #259433It seems Dean will be here next season. I would say Mr Hilton will furnish him with just enough options to hide his ineptitude. We probably can’t expect to win against Wrexham or Notts County but if your manager can’t even get players to compete against the team next to you in the league, when you’re playing at home then when are we going to compete?.Have we actually been up for any of the last 4 games ?. On the bright side, the stability of not getting relegated next season will be seen as a massive bonus I suppose.

NLN Relegation next season is a real possibility .. exactly what was foretold prior to this season and so it was… sadly im predicting a mediocre mid table finish at best next season as we have dropped that low.

Agreed. Mid table would seem inevitable.
April 9, 2023 at 4:52 pm #259561Well at least that would be a start and something to build on, and a touch of realization built in we’re not entitled.

Yeah been made pretty clear by Hilts JD will be here to stay and given his chance with a new bunch of players in NLN but also made clear he must get results or that taxi will be booked .. fair play JD should be given his chance not crucified on his efforts so far however poor its been tactically or otherwise as being given a melting pot of rash signings most on loan in a gamble that simply has back fired very badly… whose gamble strategy was it ? either way thats history and focus must be on the future starting now ..or more so when the season is finally over and the swamp has been emptied.
As commented on Gareths Ironarmy YT vlog .. new venues to visit , local footy pies n beer to look forward too ..lets just hope the football is an improvement on the last few seasons and the Iron are not in another seemingly annual relegation battle.

Peterborough Sports first season in the NLN.
“You don’t have a clue do you”
April 10, 2023 at 10:43 am #259625They’ve done okay in their first season in NLN (mid-table).
So perhaps not missing his managerial genius too much.
