Take Me Too The Mardy Arse ( a trip to the Buck’s house )
Actually if anyone could post a link for Everything Put Together Falls Apart on here, that is a top Paul Simon song.
Thanks in anticipation to the usual suspects.
February 1, 2021 at 8:44 pm #202125No reply from the ‘unusual suspect’, reverted to type yet again. When shown to be in error play a Paul Simon record.
How about ” Me and Loopy Juice down by the Schoolyard “, little rewrite of the title but I think it works.
How about 50 ways to leave yourlovers or your lodge buddies we all know the score
February 3, 2021 at 2:39 pm #202165Strangely enough I don’t spend all my time on here, TW, which has far more to do with “not replying” than failing to respond to you.
As for the “straw man argument”, as with “gaslighting”, I’m not going to reply to every individual on here, so it’s hardly surprising if that’s how my points come across.
I could just as easily ask those of you who complain about this why you don’t ask exactly the same questions of those to whom I am actually responding? They throw up straw man arguments and gaslight every bit as much as I might do, yet you remain strangely quiet about that.

Lame, very lame. You’ve spent time on here in the nearly five days since my question, and you’ve shown a very keen interest in this particular thread posting on it several times.
This is my final interaction with you, well done.February 4, 2021 at 12:45 pm #202187I’d say your own position’s pretty lame, TW. As already mentioned I don’t recall you ever objecting to other people’s “gaslighting” or “straw man arguments” despite them being everywhere, which tells me everything I need to know.
If that was your “final interaction with me” that’s entirely up to you. Well done indeed.
February 7, 2021 at 12:30 am #202293Here’s another opportunity for you to explain the benefits of Brexit and why the future of British business should never have been placed in the hands of the master gaslighter Gove (a journalist). Never run a business in his life.
February 7, 2021 at 10:07 am #202302It’ll be the EU punishing us by treating us as any other country outside the Single Market and Customs Union. Fairness would evidently be to have the same benefits of these unions without having to contribute. After spending years telling us that being part of these unions wouldn’t be ‘true Brexit’ the complaints will be that we’re not getting the benefits while being out. It’s pure cakeism.
February 8, 2021 at 2:14 pm #20233260 years of running a business, now out of business 1 month after Johnson and Gove’s great deal.
“This is not what we were told……all we get from the Government is bullshit”.
February 8, 2021 at 3:06 pm #202336Baron Selfish would be a good name for Boris!
February 8, 2021 at 4:15 pm #202338Baron Selfish would be a good name for Boris!
I believe when it comes to counting up his extended family he prefers the name Baron Hardup.
February 8, 2021 at 6:51 pm #202343More on the deal that didn’t rock…
February 9, 2021 at 10:00 pm #202413“First weeks of Brexit bumpier than expected, admits Boris Johnson’s chief negotiator.
Michael Gove says Brexit turbulence is like a plane take-off, admitting: We’re not at the gin and tonic and peanuts stage yet”
‘Effin idiot!
February 9, 2021 at 10:27 pm #202416Is that really what Gove said NI? Unbelievable and some people are closing their businesses down as a result of Brexit, only a bloody Tory would make such a condescending comparison.
February 9, 2021 at 10:33 pm #202417“Michael Gove says Brexit turbulence is like a plane take-off, admitting: We’re not at the gin and tonic and peanuts stage yet”
Can permanent quarantine be arranged for Gove after he gets off his plane?
February 10, 2021 at 2:16 pm #202423Ten years in the pokey if you lie about where you’ve traveled from!
On that basis Johnno & Gove should be serving life sentences!
February 11, 2021 at 9:25 am #202424I’d be less inclined to worry about the economic impact of Brexit if things like this weren’t happening:

Of course there will be some advantages, as laid out when talking about dealing with Swiss enterprise, but since the EU has been and will be our more important trading partner due to geography and logistics, I am failing to see how this will be a net advantage.
February 11, 2021 at 10:21 am #202425It’s truly catastrophic.
If Labour were in power the media would be ripping them to shreds, and rightly so. Yet, with a couple of exceptions the press are little more than Tory fanzines, and just tell people what they want to hear about Brexit, Covid, BLM, vaccines, Johnson, Gove and co…
The reality is that the walls are closing in everywhere you look.
February 11, 2021 at 11:00 am #202426True. The totalitarian neo-Marxist regime is taking shape before our very eyes.
February 11, 2021 at 11:15 am #202427I wish people would read and understand what Marxism is. Maybe then they’d see labeling free market economies as neo-Marxist to be the ridiculous nonsense it is. Boris Johnson is not going to be our vozhd any time soon.
February 11, 2021 at 12:28 pm #202430….are you talking about Marxism that led to 120 million people killed in the last century?
February 11, 2021 at 1:38 pm #202433Right wing fascism murdered six million plus Jews in less then five years, Put that in your righteous pious pipe and smoke it. Plus just stop talking crap full stop.
February 11, 2021 at 1:53 pm #202434….are you talking about Marxism that led to 120 million people killed in the last century?
What has the death toll of Marxism got to do with what I had said? Argue with what I am saying, not what you want me to say. I am not an apologist for Marxism. I don’t see how the UK is remotely Marxist under a government who are quite dedicated to private enterprise, lowering taxation and reducing social welfare for things like legal aid. I am disputing the stupid idea that we are heading towards a Marxist tyranny; I am not talking about whether it’s moral or not, and I lean firmly towards the latter.
It’s truly ludicrous how this government could possibly be portrayed as neo-Marxist and even more ludicrous to try and frame an understanding of Marxism as apologia for it.
February 11, 2021 at 2:32 pm #202436February 11, 2021 at 3:06 pm #202437It’s ridiculous when Americans say that Obama or Biden are Marxists. I find it off the mark to claim the Nordic countries as such. It’s even sillier when avowed capitalists from right wing parties are being characterised as such.
February 11, 2021 at 3:55 pm #202438The Democratic Party in America is a neo- Marxist party and the horrors it will inflict on the American people in the coming years will be evident in a very short time.
February 11, 2021 at 3:58 pm #202439Why do they champion capitalism then?
Will they be ignoring responses to a pandemic too, like the Republicans, and encouraging a storming of the Capitol where protesters shouted “where’s Nancy Pelosi?” with zip ties and weaponry like a Republican did?
February 11, 2021 at 4:04 pm #202440Good to see BPG’s wind-ups are not restricted to religion!
February 11, 2021 at 4:41 pm #202442The Democratic Party in America is a neo- Marxist party and the horrors it will inflict on the American people in the coming years will be evident in a very short time.
Best for all the gun totin’ do as I say not as I do fruitcakes over there to pray a bit more methinks.
February 11, 2021 at 5:03 pm #202443Sad to see bill has fallen victim to Trumps lies and rhetoric, easy to see now how he fell for that religous guff all those years back. If believeing the Democrats in America are neo-Marxists gives you the same comfort as your religous beliefs then I do feel sorry for you bill, your belief in a God is fine with me but Trumps hate filled lies!!! Do me a favour man FFS.

No it won’t!
