3 British nationals were killed in Gaza by an army supported & cheered on by the government & Labour.
The first job of any government is to protect its citizens, but truth is nobody in the political class cares. Support for Israel comes first.
Several hours since this happened and our leaders say nothing still,
” I support Israel”. Well done all those who emboldened Israel for petty internal party politics here in Britain
Yes Israels gung ho approach and mealy mouthed apologies are cutting little ice amongst the majority but as long as the West keep arming them to the teeth they won’t care, cut off their weapon supply and they might change their tune but nah it ain’t gonna happen.
Probably done deliberately as a warning to aid workers trying to assist those on the brink of starvation and death.
And this from a country which professes to be deeply religious.
Again, words fail.
Then we get a mealy mouthed response from Avi Hyman, but then we should be used to getting an abdication of responsibility from the current government.
The trouble is that some people will use it as a license to act on their antisemitism.
Israel has a responsibility for Jews around the world, to act responsibly. As do we, the Americans, Russians, Arabs and all others with their own diaspora.
Bombing embassies?
Why are we not talking about Gaza hostages,children who are being abused etc by Israeli ethnic cleansing squads.
