Good interview from Tony. Nice to actually understand what the gaffer is talking about and how they’re approaching the match. Also comforting to know he’s speaking directly to Lee. Best of luck to the Tony, Michael, Paul and the team going forward. UTI

Don’t you mean Tony, Nel’s and Paul, lol, big last paragraph from him but why only “try” all 3 should be a given, been told for so long we’re gonna give it a go only to defend for most of the game, here’s hoping.

Reasonable questions and well dealt with. Very measured and professional in his comments.

Actually think this is one of the toughest of gigs as things are. Not much time to sort a lot of problems out so can see the back 4 doing their bit with midfield contributing far more. Just want to hear and read the fans say we got the basics right and our passing was much improved.

Then pray the takeover does happen and an official no. 1 is in place and build from there.

Very tough gig and still short of experienced players, Tony is a Scunny legend and I want him desperately to succeed so best of luck Dawsy we are all behind you and your team.

    I’m going to throw a tenner on a 2-2 draw @ 12/1

We’ve scored five goals from 3 games at home.

They’ve scored six goals in 3 away games.

    2-2 – nailed on.

Not much of an update from Lee, take it the takeover is still on till someone says otherwise, wouldn’t have been to much to say if it was progressing or not imo, and just to add to the confusion now Lee refers to our assistant as Nelse, wtf.

    Takeover shmakeover.
It’s smoke and mirrors, it’s there to sell season tickets and deflect, deflect, deflect.
Seems to be working with some on here.
Bit of advice from one who knows: believe ANYTHING Swann says only when it happens😉

    As for the result, 0-3.

But you told us there would be buyers interested Alcy, have you changed your mind?

I’m no Swann fan, but the guy has no chance.

People moan when he doesn’t say anything & moan when he does.

    Alcy just moans at everything.

    a

Awaywego, There can only be a buyers of anything, only if the owner of it wants to sell the item, believe what Swann says if you like, but remember one thing pal, this man has spun lie after lie for over seven years now, and please remember that it will be his best option if he ends up with the land package of the stadium, the car park and the training pitch land, and that he has no respect what so ever for Scunthorpe supportersm and lays blame on them to take it away from where it is—his self!!!!!

    Nope.
But it needs the seller to be interested too…and telling the truth.

He has no chance? Hmm, wonder why that is? Glad he’s taken a back seat. Don’t care to listen to him. But if he’s speaking we want to hear it as he’s still the owner.

I think I’d rather be relegated to NLN than liquidated.

As long as the Coffee Club takes place every other week, we could be in the Lincs League for some.

None of the 3 was on display in the second half no working hard , pride in the shirt, and giving it a go,just shut it Daws we’ve heard it all before, come back if you string a few results together.

In the first half we were in the game as it was stop/start with no urgency and no flow. Second half the game was flowing and fast, we were knackered physically and mentally, capitulated again when the opposition ran at us down our left hand flank, conceding far too easily.

Few if any telling shots or efforts on goal and no creativity. Worse still no passion or desire.

Admiral Lord Nelson couldn’t muster a win out of this hapless lot.

I was hoping he would go 4-4-2, and he did. But it was a mistake, we no longer have the players needed for that system. They have been training to play 4-3-3 or 5-4-1.

A real manager is needed, interims never work, and Daws has had enough chances…

Some might say that ‘real’ managers don’t work either?

A real manager is needed, interims never work

In a professional environment, I am led to believe that an interim period is for a (minimum) of 3 months and a (maximum) of 18 months?

In accountancy (I’m sure someone will correct me if this isn’t correct), I’m led to believe that an interim period is 12 months?

Maybe the sale of the Club is expected to go through within three months?
