Hopefully he has realised his conduct on there was unbecoming and unprofessional and will communicate like a professional from now on.

He has left Facebook.
Don’t blame him, it’s a toxic environment.
Beyond getting down on their knees, I’m not sure how much more accommodating that Facebook group could have been towards Hilton.
Shouldn’t even be looking at the Facebook or Bru anymore what can he achieve from it? He knows everything that’s going on and not everyone is going to lick is arse so nothing to be gained, why not come on the sites with a parody account and have a laugh with it.

There are two approaches for either Twitter or Facebook.
1/ You talk at the Fans – fatal.
2/ You engage with the fans – a future.Using ‘vermin’ is not engaging.

Was always going to be a disaster.
Might be old fashioned but the only time I want to hear from an owner is through an official statement online.
Hopefully coming off there and now with a board to help, we can start working through our problems in a more professional manner.

Darragh MacAnthony at Peterborough and Andy Holt at Accrington show that social media can be handled professionally by owners if they have the right maturity and self-control.
Using it to give snippets of information and some engagement is good. It can build relationships. The problem for Hilton was that he was using it as the only information source for some news and, most crucially, got too involved with disagreements and personal gripes. No owner is going to have every fan completely on board, even the best. Leaving behind the unfairness in his accusations against the site owners, he should have just ignored those who aren’t so enamoured, instead of fanning the flames, making things worse and making himself look petty and unprofessional.
Hopefully this will be a learning lesson for future conduct.

The guy has a serious saviour complex he needs to sort. That and his keenness to take the pressure off himself with all his blame and smokescreen. Makes you wonder how he did make his money

Perhaps the newly appointed boards influence is already beginning to show and the Chairman is taking note.
Maybe. One would hope someone with a bit of sense advised him to come off it, particularly after the Trumpesque Bru witch-hunt, the Bradley Guest accusation and the disgusting inexcusable Tweet from someone that followed last night.

I was letting relevant news known, given most before had assumed he had gone from Facebook. Nothing more, but I am sure you can weasel some more snide remarks against fans here, Jerry.
