Not sure if these two are injured? But surely if they are fit they should be at least on the bench for experience at least, if their fit surely it can only be financial why they are not playing.
today we desperately needed to play at a high pace but we slipped into Maidstones trap played at their pace and got punished, the players need to be shown how hard it is for the supporters to keep giving their hard earned money and getting nothing back.
Today is the lowest point I have ever felt! In the 47 years of supporting the Iron, we had poor teams in the mid 70s but you want to the games knowing they would put 110% into the game even if they were outclassed.
I Was reasonably happy on Wednesday after the game as Wrexham were a class above us and we at least had a go, today against a very poor team we were made to look even poorer and I really do fear the the club as a whole.
Starting to believe Mr and Mrs Swann really do want us to go into administration as punishment for the mistakes they have made in throwing money into the pit and not getting to the promised land.
Three words to the both of them “SELL US NOW” please, please, please sell us before it’s to late and give the new people a fighting chance, But unfortunately I can’t see it happening as they have made their mind up to bankrupt the club.

Can you please explain to me how the Swanns will benefit more by bankrupting the Club than by selling it?
November 12, 2022 at 9:40 pm #248550Didn’t say they would benefit from it! Just believe there is some form of agenda from them, we are hearing so many different things it’s really hard to not what’s fact or fiction.
November 12, 2022 at 9:57 pm #248552I agree about Whitehouse, surely he has something to offer but I’m not so convinced about what you think Daniel provides. One decent performance in pre-season aside he has done nothing since the season started. He hasn’t got the fitness / legs to play either left back or left wing back. Maybe he could play up top if we were to go more route one but if Daniel is the answer we really are on the shit

November 12, 2022 at 9:57 pm #248553Depends on the terms of this lease (if it exists). If SUFC don’t exist then no barrier for land development – that’s how he’ll benefit

November 13, 2022 at 12:44 am #248563Swann’s not going to lose either way as the land he kindly signed over to his company is worth a fair amount and he get’s that even if the clubs goes bust.
All he would have to do is sell it on to developers and then he’ll trot off into the sunset.
Swann won’t be that bothered if we go under as he has assets already in his companies name. There’s no flies on Swannster.

If they sell the club they won’t be able to sell the ground with us as tenants. If the bankrupt is they can knock down Glanny Park and flog the lot to a large supermarket for example.

That’s one big whopper to add to all the other bullshit he’s come out with. Why would he ever have given us that land back when that’s what holds the real value.
Did he really expect people to believe that ?
Honestly the cheek of that bloke. Absolute piss take.

November 15, 2022 at 7:12 am #248673Well. If he’s an honourable man – I can’t see why people are getting so bovvered. It’s not as if we have any reason to disbelieve what he says.

November 17, 2022 at 9:55 am #248740Daniels was a poor signing from the onset, but could certainly do a better job at fullback than the hapless give a goal away a game O Malley.
Whitehouse is an holding midfielder and would suit our midfield at the moment and allow playing a back four instead of a back five.
It would also allow Butterfield to push on and play to his strongest attribute ie being a creative player.
Daws is clueless.
November 17, 2022 at 10:08 am #248745Don’t agree that Daniels was a bad signing, utility players always necessary in a small squad, but his injury record is worrying.
Fully agree with the rest of your post.November 26, 2022 at 2:02 am #249247Don’t agree that Daniels was a bad signing, utility players always necessary in a small squad, but his injury record is worrying.

Omalley one of better players on pitch hes not to blame for goals he threw is self at everyone other week
November 26, 2022 at 8:53 am #249249Since the friendly with Sheffield United Daniels has been poor wherever he has played. This includes the one home game where he played left back.
