He hit a stray pass 5 minutes into the game and someone from the east stand seats shouts you ‘re shit Daniel.
He answered back so clearly heard
it.
Such a shame that his shot that hit the inside of the post 2 minutes later didn’t go in and I’m pretty sure where he would have run to.
Cleveland Taylor, Alexander, Mc Cann, Nuttall, Musselwhite, Toney have all been subject to abuse over the years.
What does it achieve, nothing.3 users thanked author for this post.
January 7, 2023 at 6:55 pm #252192Let’s not forget booing king Kev or Dewhurst coming on as subs for that matter.

January 7, 2023 at 7:02 pm #252194On the contrary, the vast majority of our supporters have stuck by this team despite being probably the worst in our history.
The supporters as a whole deserve credit, constantly backing the team despite knowing we will probably get beat and still keeping a 3k average.

January 7, 2023 at 7:15 pm #252196Very good comment they have had alot to put up with
January 7, 2023 at 7:16 pm #252198Definitely, the majority are a credit
January 7, 2023 at 7:19 pm #252199Technically most of the team should get in most teams in this division, but I do believe behind the scenes going ons is affecting all of them.

January 7, 2023 at 9:50 pm #252205Had another decent game. I don’t mind him at left back. Some of the criticism of late has been very harsh IMO.

January 7, 2023 at 10:01 pm #252206Colin needs games which he appears to going to get, physically and experience wise he gives us more then Mason which is what we need right now so think he can be an asset for us.

January 7, 2023 at 11:51 pm #252223Dont rate him at all, omalley all day long
January 8, 2023 at 1:18 am #252227Hill was playing him upfront. I feared the worst when Nelson took the reigns but he’s impressing me. I think Nelson’s half decent and has got us playing some decent stuff.
Wilson looks like the player we knew that’s been there all along. Shrimpton has been terrific and young Foster between the sticks looks more than a bit promising. The more experienced players at pulling their fingers out now for Nelson as Butterfield looks impressive and dare I say it, even Taft and Boyce looked relatively solid.
Have we stumbled upon a half decent manager ?

January 8, 2023 at 9:40 am #252244I suspect that he may well be pretty good.
January 8, 2023 at 10:31 am #252247Daniel was really shite at chesterfield but new game new start for me every time for anyone in the team.

January 8, 2023 at 11:11 am #252253He’s missed a lot of game time through injury and I thought yesterday was probably his best game so far, so unlucky not to score. We need our older experienced players to stand up now and be counted because let’s be right, we have been four or five experienced heads short all season and they are so vital particularly in this division.
January 8, 2023 at 11:40 am #252258Nil desperandum Hallam will soon be back.
January 8, 2023 at 11:45 am #252259Not even made the bench after his 45 minutes against the Cods. Injured again?
January 8, 2023 at 12:37 pm #252263His similarity injury wise to Luke Williams is quite uncanny, talented but not a ghost of a chance of playing.
January 8, 2023 at 12:52 pm #252264Not a great fan of Daniel but credit where credits due he had a good game yesterday and would have probably been M.O.M. if it wasn’t for Lavery.
January 8, 2023 at 12:53 pm #252265The only criticism I could hear on Saturday was from the depths of the Maidenhead supporters. Someone there was giving his team holy hell.
January 9, 2023 at 12:38 am #252289Daniel was woeful at Chesterfield but he’s been out injured for a while and may just have been rusty in that first game back. Hallam not featuring since his run out vs Cods is what’s held him back, he picks up a bad injury, get’s fit and has a game back to ease himself back in but his body is that fragile he either picks up the same injury as he had before or picks up a muscle strain.
I know it’s not his fault that he’s injured all the time but the hell did Swannster give him yet another 2 years ?
January 9, 2023 at 6:38 am #252297Had another decent game. I don’t mind him at left back. Some of the criticism of late has been very harsh IMO.
Lets be right about it, he was beyond awful at Chesterfield but yes, much better on Saturday. I think our long suffering fans have been pretty patient considering what they have had to put up with over the last few years.
January 9, 2023 at 7:06 am #252298not Daniel but Lavery …. careless whispers that the codheads are after him .. now that would be a kick in the gonads
