Mbappe wouldn’t have got to most of those flick ons, one spooned off his head about 40yards for a throw in. Rose also struggled massively against their lively winger (who was my motm) and they coped with our horrendous (and dangerous) pitch much better. Do feel for Rose though he’ll learn from the match and work on his positional play

    Quite entertaining.
I was frustrated by Max’s defending of their goal – but was it not Clunan who didn’t get sufficiently across his man when the strike was underway?
So relieved that we scored a late equaliser – don’t see that too often.
All of the players put in a hardworking stint. Movement off the ball (except for Beck’s terrific flicks) was improved and significantly better than it has been.

So chuffed we got that late equalizer , i stayed up until 4:30am and Mo made it worth it.

Nicolson out on a perminant deal is being mooted on SM and AB very coy about it in the interview

Started well but went right off the boil. We didn’t make that much of his powerful long throw, and his general passing became weirdly dreadful. Limited opportunities in the last couple of months with seemingly zero impact on the team as a whole… so it makes sense to thank him for his service and see him on his way?

Didn’t help that the balls into him were pretty cack, but Beck’s aimless flicks were never going to be collected, even if he’d had a runner alongside. We had plenty of build up but no cutting edge or end product once Whitehall went off; limited to feeding Fadera and Roberts and hoping for individual brilliance – and in end we got lucky with that. As for Whitehall – he shouldn’t have gone in on that challenge, he was never going to win that ball.

Roberts at times playing like Butterfield at the end of last season starts at one corner of the box ending up having not moved forward an inch and doesn’t get a shot or decent pass away.
In his defense he’s always got 2 or 3 opposition players to beat, needs to get a shot or pass away much quicker. Class player and you always feel there’s a goal in him even when he has the occasional pure game.

Not his best game though their defending was great. When they weren’t time wasting
