Clueless performance on and off the field.
My fear from last season was always when confidence slipped, Dean wouldn’t be able to recover. The players were not playing for him today.
I’d snap your hand off for 2nd now
I kept getting told at the end of last season that Jimmy had a wealth of experience in the division he was taking us down into and not to worry.
How much experience of this division did Tamworth’s manager have before the first game of this season ?

February 10, 2024 at 9:09 pm #280833Play 442 and be positive for a change we’d more than likely win but this 433 without Roberts supplying the lone frontman Whitehall, Curzon will win.
SUFC 0 – CURZON 1
I can’t say I’m surprised as it’s all very predictable. I know Whitehall missed the header he should have really scored, but to take him off for Beestin instead of going two up top is ridiculous.
What was Dean playing at ?
CMC I guess you haven’t seen my posts the last few weeks concerning Dean, if you had read them then you wouldn’t be expecting me to back him. I predicated a 0-1 loss to Curzon and have questioned Dean’s tactics or lack thereof for quite a while.
I like him as a person, but he’s just not good enough.

February 10, 2024 at 10:16 pm #280840WAell anoyjer clueless performance, and although I forcast that Curzon would take the tree points, but having Scunny only scoring 4 goals in their last 6 matches, I foolishly had 1-2. The team is at rock bottom in their atitude and performances, and with the squad and wages they are paying, it is not good enough. Pugh had a good game on his return to Scunthorpe, but cannot get into the team, whilst Beesten and Wilson seem to get part of a match every time, both are a waste of space the way they are playing, and we only have half a team without Roberts and Smith.
The manager keeps sauying that the performance is not good enough, but keeps playing the same players in the same polls, and it is now obvouse that supporters are going to dwindle and will soon be below the 3,000 mark.
There is no chance of automatic promotion, and this present team have little to no chance of winning the play off’s. I feel sorry for Michelle who has worked wonders since taking over, but is being badly let down by the management and players. Fans will soon get fer up by the present performances being played in front of them, it must be remembered that we are playing at the second level of non-league football, and as stated 4 goals in 6 games is pathetic.

February 11, 2024 at 4:13 am #280851180+ mins of play 2 attempts 2 goals 6pts to Curzon absolutely disgraceful Scunny. Third subs done it for me Beestin for Whitehall really! Jimmy it is time to go,said in a previous post can Michelle afford to keep him and after today performance it as to be no. As much as I dislike in house give Butterfield a go with Butler.
Now im liking that idea , .. Butters n Butler replacing JD n Plummer i mean … as for Muzzy i have never understood how he has always dodged the bullet for so long , he needs putting out to grass as well to save a few quid.
Even with the piss poor HR service and having to constantly swap over to CA Twitch TV and some very hyper Ozzie fella it sounded like another shitshow.. CA were crap yet done us with their only sniff and more worryingly we could not break them down. JD stole the show with the Beestin Whitehall sub WTF was all that about ?? …twood appear we are in real trouble and never mind promotion the play offs are very doubtful on this form and with the teams coming up.
South Shields on a roll
Chester
AlfretonWill all be up for us rubbing their hands in glee knowing just how to set up against a very easily sussed toothless Iron.

24 Curzon Ashton 408February 11, 2024 at 9:04 am #280861Coke oven Kid mentions “we were told Jimmy had experience of this level”
And I mentioned at the time this was his first season in the NLN… his experience was mainly in the PDFL (local football)/NPL/UCL
But that was ignored in a wave of anyonebutswann propaganda
