we will see which Iron team turns up tomorrow, very erratic recently, hope another 2 wins and then let’s see us play attacking football for the rest of the season to get fans excited for when hopefully fans will be let in next season.

April 1, 2021 at 10:22 am #203989You reckon anyone will be allowed in next season, Mick?
They’ve already primed us by saying that the vaccine neither stops you getting it, not passing it on.
And our continental”friends” are entering lockdown 3 today….Watch for our media, who have run this whole debacle, to start pushing for stricter controls here again.

Why have you put friends in speech marks there Alcy?
For what it’s worth, yes I do think grounds will be open next season.

That’s not true!
April 1, 2021 at 10:55 am #203996Club have said all 65s and over will need vaccination proof at the turnstiles before admission next year.
April 1, 2021 at 11:06 am #203998After 10 days without a game we should be coming out firing
4-0 win and a Loft perfect hat trick UTI
April 1, 2021 at 11:17 am #203999Saw right through that Keadby, April Fool.
April 1, 2021 at 12:20 pm #204000Our manager now says these next 10 games are very important !!
I rest my case.
April 1, 2021 at 1:20 pm #204002Club have said all 65s and over will need vaccination proof at the turnstiles before admission next year.
I’ve had both of mine and it is written on a card they give you when they do it.
April 1, 2021 at 2:57 pm #204004Me too all jabbed up and ready.
April 1, 2021 at 2:59 pm #204005How will the people on the turnstiles know who is over 65?
April 1, 2021 at 3:10 pm #204006They will challenge people, no proof of age, no entry. Ps your far to young to have had both yours Charlie.
April 1, 2021 at 3:24 pm #204008Reminds me when I was heading into Accrington’s ground about 10 years ago to watch the Iron and a really pleasant lady steward suggested I should use the over 60’s turnstile.
Told her I was 3 or 4 years away from being eligible and she was seriously embarrassed – I was laughing and said I must have had more to drink the previous night than I remembered.

A similar situation happened to myself MK, I was at a Scunny game at Rochdale last season, I was just about to enter the OAP Gate when a steward stopped me and saib “this gate is for pensioners only” as I am 80 this month, this was a bit of a shock for me, but made me feel good until another steward told him “can’t you see he can use this gate, he looks bloody 90 never mind 65!!! ????
April 1, 2021 at 4:43 pm #204010Just when you think you have been paid a complement some bugger goes and spoils it BS.
April 1, 2021 at 4:55 pm #204011To be honest I’m a bit pissed off now reaching 65 and genuinely get in for oap rates, been getting in for oap rates since Reading away in 2010.

Both the French and Germans have recently shown themselves to be unfriendly, dishonest and childish.

Yes it is, and the NHS website backs it up.
April 1, 2021 at 6:07 pm #204018No awaywego I only look young. That’s why I asked how would they know who was over 65.
April 1, 2021 at 9:14 pm #204036So you want a 100% guarantee to take the vaccine do you Alcy?
April 1, 2021 at 11:19 pm #204040Or any excuse not to take it!
April 2, 2021 at 12:26 pm #204047So you want a 100% guarantee to take the vaccine do you Alcy?
I’ve made it 100% clear that I will NOT be having any vaccine which is so “safe” it has required both it’s makers and the government to be indemnified against side effects.
It’s either safe….or it’s not.And as for what it actually does….?
Doesn’t stop you getting it.
Doesn’t stop you passing it on.
Doesn’t negate the need to wear masks.
Doesn’t stop the need to social distance. So what DOES it do? Apart from make oodles of money for the shareholders?
April 2, 2021 at 12:41 pm #204051It’s not all about YOU though is it Alcy?
Anyway, back to the game. Where’s the senior pros today?

April 2, 2021 at 3:00 pm #204056Zero quality on that pitch. Really enticing the fans to get season tickets for next year

April 2, 2021 at 3:10 pm #204057They at least gave it a go, we didn’t, we would have been tired I expect playing 2 games a week but…..
Apart from not having a shot on target we didn’t have any near misses either, shocking performance and every forward had a shocker today, and before BS gives Howard a 5 for his kicking he saved us near the end, our passing was poor all through the team and the forwards would beat a man and then either fall over the ball or lose possession, they were as bad but at least they tried to attack more than we did.
April 2, 2021 at 3:27 pm #204059Sorry to say, but this was a game of complete rubbish, is there anyone that does not agree with this comment???
90 minuteswithout a shot on goal by Scunny, and Crawley had one shot on target, only one goalkeeping save in the full match.HOWARD—5—N othing to do really, but still made a few errors..
O’MALLEY—6—No overlaps today, defended ok.
BEDEAU–6—Defended ok.
ONARIASE—hEAR—7—Was the heart of a shakey defence, very much overworked.
HOWE—6—defended well, but no overlaps.
GILLIEAD—9—The only Scunny player that performed well, any Scunny danger came from him.
KARACAN–6–Did ok without a lot of support to the front.
BEESTIN—5—Spence should have played, caught out a few times.
GREEN—4—FaST but none productive, was missing for the first hour, not good enough.
EISA—6—Had some good runs but end product was poor.
LOFT—2—What can I say, no ball control, poor game and a complete waste of space.bring
back Novak!!!REF—8—No co,plaints, trued to keep a pathetic game flowing, a good ref.
COX—3—Nice statmeent from him “we are going for wins in all of our last ten matches” followed by an home game against a team that has lost 6 of their last 7 away games, and we do not have one shot on target during the 93 minute, what a bloody clown!!!!
Some better players on the bench than some of his selections, har too late in bringing on subs, for a team that was playing no less than pathetic. A lucky point for us, Crawley were poor, but our lot?????.1 user thanked author for this post.
April 2, 2021 at 3:29 pm #204061You are right MM. If only for the last 20 minutes they had a go and finally had a shot on target.
I thought 2 of their players whiffing at the ball while unchallenged in the 6 yard box was funny but Green topped that a few minutes later when an easy paced ball came to his feet on the right touchline. He missed the ball and ended up on his arse. Summed up the performance and real comedy gold.
Howard man of the match for me with a 6.
Came off his line with more intent than usual and his distribution was not bad.
5 for the defenders, 4 for the midfield and 3 for the forwards.
