I don’t think I’ve ever had the displeasure of supporting the club with a manager who’s as bad as this tactically. Wilcox the struggle was staying awake but we we’re solid…he often changed like or like and was super conservative.

I can’t remember Wilcox or any other manager in my life time ever changing things though when we we’re playing reasonably well and in turn willingly messed everything up.

Robins was a bit of a lunatic tactically but he wasn’t as bad either. Laws used to do his customary change when he brought a striker on with 2 minutes to go when losing, or stick a CB up top in a bid to change it, despite having 20 or 30 minutes to alter it and deciding not to.

This is the most frustrated I’ve been though..yes we have a young squad but we also have really, really talented players here who could do teams no end of damage who are being completely mismanaged.

Gillead, Eisa and McAtee would run riot at this level providing they were played correctly…or in some cases actually even chosen to play. Colclough is a questionable character but he’s got the talent for this level hands down.

We have enough talent easily for this level of football.

Eisa and Gillead on the wings. McAtee upfront with Loft with Spence and Vincent sitting in midfield will be more than enough.

Stick Onariase in at CB alongside Cordner. Play Rowe until Clarke is back with O’Malley LB. I don’t for the life of me see what’s particularly wrong with that.

Early days but Taylor looks a better bet than Vincent.

Personally I think Vincent,Spence, Cordner and Taylor are our better signings at present, with Manny looking quite decent on his cameos.

FFS go get junior brown, still hasn t a club as far as I know,+ he would bring a little bit of experience, just a thought

Yes, we need more signings! Even though we have a squad of 30+, even though we’ve signed 9 players this season, even though the game’s in a real financial mess, we need to sign more players!

I look forward to people demanding Cox resign in a couple of weeks, I’m sure another change of manager will definitely resolve all our problems. Just like the last half-a-dozen changes have.

Sadly we’ve gone the quantity rather than quality route on our squad and ended up with an unbalanced selection. Loads of wingers & strikers and short at FB & CM. As I’ve said before we are carrying a number of players who have little chance of making the matchday squad let alone the starting XI and virtually no hope of moving any out so too many toys for Cox to fit in to his toy box.

    short at FB & CM

Full back definitely. CM not so sure as we’ve got Vincent, Taylor, Spence, Hallam, Beestin, Pugh and arguably McAttee. Plus Gilliead is being used there and isn’t CM Hornshaw’s preferred slot?

What we are lacking in that area is experience and leadership.

Some of our squad must have stiff necks from looking across at the technical area so often.

We’ve signed loads of wingers and forwards, but would seemingly rather play only one of the forwards and have the wingers play as central mid, central defensive mid or full back.

I am not going to call for Cox’s head, it’s too early and the financial situation isn’t good, but I am not going to refrain from criticism.
