Next 3 games postponed,8 now tested positive with 10 isolating
October 27, 2020 at 2:03 pm #196685Entirely predictable, I really cannot see this season being completed, for more than one reason.
October 27, 2020 at 2:10 pm #196686Begs the question, why weren’t the last two?
October 27, 2020 at 2:30 pm #196689Bloody farce the lot of it,should have never restarted.
October 27, 2020 at 2:34 pm #196690Bloody farce the lot of it,should have never restarted.
100% agree.
October 27, 2020 at 2:38 pm #196692At least it gives our injured players a couple of extra weeks to recover without missing games.
October 27, 2020 at 3:23 pm #196695Totally agree should never have re started
October 27, 2020 at 3:50 pm #196697The fact is that it has been started, but the likeyhood of it being completed is practicaly nil, the reasons bein.
1. Many clubs will go into liquidation before very long..
2. This virus will get worse and affect many players.
3. There is no financial reason to continue for league 1 & 2 clubs.
4. After awaiting seven months for support from the EFl NO PLAN HAS COME FORTH.
5. The greedy Premier clubs would sooner small clubs went bust rayher than give any help.Financial problems will sink clubs within two more months, once this starts with one or two clubs, many more will follow.
October 27, 2020 at 5:10 pm #196703Highlights what a joke it was for the game to go ahead on Saturday.
It’s a false economy aswell to suggest it gives players time to recover from injuries when two thirds of the team have a disease attacking their respiratory systems.
October 27, 2020 at 5:14 pm #196704we were playing Saturday Tuesday for almost upto Christmas. Whilst some injured players may recover how many will subsequently get injured cramming in these games and whilst we have the numbers in the squad we don’t have strength in depth.
October 27, 2020 at 5:43 pm #196705And players can’t train in the meantime. Rest is important for athletes but so is training, it’s a delicate balance. This season is feast or famine in that respect.
October 31, 2020 at 6:47 pm #196818Brilliant Boris, Watched the rugby first before doing his news conference, come on England.

November 1, 2020 at 11:18 am #196834No we had 2wks away picking lettuce far better than Sheffield park.
November 1, 2020 at 1:42 pm #196838No we had 2wks away picking lettuce far better than Sheffield park.
Thought it was two weeks away picking your nose but came home after a day when your head caved in.🤦
November 2, 2020 at 12:36 pm #196851Tony Blairs suggestion letting people have the vaccine now if safe , but maybe only 50% effective could get us back in grounds after xmas, and more of a normality in the community, “bring back Blair”.

Wishful thinking on so many counts there I’m afraid.

November 2, 2020 at 10:25 pm #196884Have you learned the lingo NI.
Nah! Out on a hike the other week and surprised some women walking her dog whilst coming over a stile.
“Eeh! I’ve lived rood here aal me life and that’s the first time I’ve seen anyone use that path”. I explained where it went to and she said, “Are yez up here on holiday then?” “No, I live here”, I replied.
Then followed the ultimate insult – “Really? You sound like yer from Yorkshire!”
I understand the lingo but don’t talk it!
