Any truth in the rumour we had a 20% sell on clause? Hard to believe we were that astute to put a clause like that in!?!
Why are they selling him, if they aren’t it doesn’t it make little difference until they do
Rumours are that he’s off to Ipswich. One year left on his contract, so a fee would be involved.
Ipswich have a agreed a fee, 500k upfront but with add ons 750,000k. I’m sure we sold him with a sell on clause in the deal.
I wouldn’t get too excited about a sell-on, given these are usually based on the profit made on a sale.
If this article is true, there’s no profit, nor indeed if the rumoured fee at the time (half that reported here) is correct.

If so then we won’t get anything, sell ons are on profit made…which in this case is £0.
Hull got a decent payout when we sold him to West Brom, didn’t realise the fee was £1.5 million and we only got £750,000, good sell on clause 50%.
