If any Iron fan has’nt read the script we are heading to the Conference.(National League)

Only one more job to do, resurect the Codheads season next week.

Well done Earnest Pawn a powder puff team and squad, no fight, no pride, no guile, no hope.

If this were to happen then Peter Swann will (rightly or wrongly) be forever known as the man who destroyed Scunthorpe United.

A point per game with half the season left. Time to stop blaming Covid and injuries and get your finger out!

It is always the safe option worrying about the opposition not the way we can beat them, play the attacking options before the defensive ones.
Yes as supporters we don’t like us losing, but it is the manner in which we lose that is so frustrating.
We need a striker like barrows today (quigley) he knows his limitations and plays them to his best roughs up and unsettles defenders into making errors that ultimately lead to a goal or a sending off.

A good win today against a very poor Cods team, possibly the worst I have ever seen (though the most enjoyable to witness).

Maybe the title should be ‘Conference here they come’

Up the mighty Iron. Ironking was delighted 3 times this pm and Mrs King is going to make it 4 times tonight, or not as the case maybe.

How does the saying go – ‘One swallow does not make a summer, nor does one day’…

Let’s not get complacent. It was a good 3 points and a reasonable show against the liverless Cods, but there has to be a lot more of the same to ensure survival.

There are some really poor teams in this league and, sadly most of them have beaten us. Today showed how to avoid future embarrassment.

    Too true!

Let’s not forget those liverless Cods beat us at their place, as did Barrow, Stevenage and Southend.

If we’d flipped those results, which we could have done with a bit of application, we’d be sat comfortably.

    Alas Bobby

Absolutely glad to be proven wrong on both fronts.

I do hope that comments such as mine spur people on in a positive way. They were coined after a very poor away loss at Barrow.

Our fortunes have changed after sending Cordner back and bringing in Taft, the former cost us goals and games.
