As one who knows a bit about commentary, I have to say that the guy on the Surrey radio station was the worst I’ve heard in five years+. (Dunno why I couldn’t find Humberside – was it on?)
Any road up, the guy left huge gaps – had to use Twitter to have any sort of overview.
Had he ever seen Dorking before – his identification of players was abject?
So many mistakes – sometimes corrected.
I didn’t even know which penalty box we were in on some occasions.
Using his spiel, I have to assume Butterfield only touched the ball twice in the first 45.
Has he never heard the expression ‘you must never have dead air?’

I thought the cods were playing.

I got the Hullberside commentary in Newbury.
The chap, Ollie, was very good and so was Neil. A win at last! We must do it more often.
