The worst for a long time. This was the bloke that forgot to play added time in an FA Cup match last year and brought the players back out to ‘finish’ the half before starting the second. Absolutely incompetent.

March 12, 2022 at 8:58 pm #233420Are the match officials hand picked by Mr Invisible himself.
March 12, 2022 at 10:54 pm #233423Was definitely a hand ball, deliberate as well, left hand at hip level. Couldn’t believe it wasn’t spotted.
March 12, 2022 at 10:59 pm #233424A difficult one to take. Maybe add the two together and you could argue for a yellow. So harsh. Then, apparently, he was informed of the handball by the 4th official and chose to ignore it. Then hit bar, post and sidenetting. When you are down .. it just seems to go that way! I liked my first look at Cripps. Saw more to commend in Rowe than I’ve noticed before. Nuttal looks fitter and Sinclair did well.
Cripps, Rowe, OMalley, Gallimore, Pugh, Lewis … Wilson …maybe some green shoots there? If there’s even a vote for Player of the Season then Rory should be suing!!2 users thanked author for this post.
March 13, 2022 at 12:43 am #233429Just watched the highlights and agree with many previous comments ..blatant hand ball ignored by the ref for their equalizer..and a soft first yellow for Matheson.
Its getting tedious loosing all the MUST WIN games… one of our own SCORED IN OPEN PLAY, just trying to claw a positive from thin air really.
Say it again ..in numerous ways very strange selection and set up by Hill.
Another must win v Barrow next followed by circa 9 more must wins until the curtain drops on 70 years plus of football league status and the distinct possibility of years before a return.
Thanks Mr Swann ..great job NOT !!!!

Topics: 13I think Hill has known for a while that the fat lady has packed up her microphone and is in the taxi home.
I’ve hired her for cabaret in my restaurant as Edith’s voice is worse than ever.
She makes her debut at Cafe Renee next Saturday.
Tickets are available €25 – to include snail and garlic bread hors d’oeuvre.March 13, 2022 at 8:22 am #233435No frog’s legs?
March 13, 2022 at 11:40 am #233455Agree about the handball, but he is allowed to run the whole pitch and score. Why?
Also Watson’s reaction is not really accurate…
After that, Delaney looses his man twice at the 2nd and 3rd goal. Shocking defending again.Same as every week. Playing rather well, and even scoring a goal from open play.
Then a very naive mistake (which normally cost us a goal, now a red card) and we give it away…March 13, 2022 at 12:17 pm #233458Hill is slipping into Cox’s ‘square pegs’ approach. IMO Delaney has been outstanding at CB and, I know we’re struggling at FB but Lewis was playing there a few weeks ago. (Controversiality Alert!! I think Lewis has shown more than Cribb has so far) When he rearranged after HT he initially had Manny(CB) at RB and Rowe (RB) at CB (probably to try and keep Manny out of the penalty area as much as possible?) Fortunately somebody saw sense quite quickly.
March 13, 2022 at 1:35 pm #233471Rowe is the nearest thing to a competent right back at the club at least until Millen is fit. Should be playing there until Millen is back.
Another 8 or 10 games and Matheson might show some promise but that is Wolves problem, not ours.
Lewis is the nearest thing we have to a competent left back until O’Malley is fit. Delaney is a decent left side centre back and needs to play there. He is an average at best left back so playing him there weakens us in 2 positions.
Onariase is our best right sided centre back. Not perfect but the best we have at least whilst we need to play Rowe at right back. Grant and Feeney have to play in midfield. Sinclair is now showing some attacking promise so play him. If Beeston is over his Covid problem then play him. Nuttall and Burns up front and there is our starting 11 until relegation is certain.
Once we bow to the inevitable we should only play people that will be here next season plus the people we would like to be here next season. Fill the rest of the team with our promising youngsters that haven’t already been tapped up by bigger clubs.
Tell the players they are playing for their pride and their future careers. Send the those who have not bought into getting fit and working hard on garden leave.
It’s a simple game Keith, let’s get back to playing it that way. If that frees up a bit of time for you and your coaches you could start looking for the dozen or so players you will need to find to keep us in the National League next season.

Above totally spot on .. it aint rocket science, im finding some of Hills selection and set up choices a bit iffy.. players playing out of position at random , maybe done to confuse the opponents, ITS NOT WORKING Keith
Early tip for the next must win game … Scunny 1 Barrow 11 user thanked author for this post.
