“Was it that bad for them”? Yes.
“Why were you watching the cods anyway”? So I could tell you it was that bad for them.

Had it on in the background. They weren’t that bad and not embarassing, they were just outclassed by the in form team in the Premiership. Like the time we got beat 5-1 or something at Man City. We weren’t that bad and City weren’t any way near their current class. Fowler hatrick after coming on second half wasn’t it?

They got outclassed today but fair play to them for having a cracking cup run. It’s something we haven’t had in a very long time.

Fantastic when the smaller Clubs get so deep in to the competition.
    Well done Grimsby!

    3-1 actually! I was there.

Andy Keogh scored and we were 1-0 up a halftime.

…..the message on the screwed up paper was for the players…”can you try and get over the half-way line.”😂

I was working yesterday, and saw loads of Brighton fans going to and from the match. There was no way they would lose at home to Grimsby, the stakes were too high. They will get beaten by Man United in the semi final. But that is not for this thread.

3 – 1 to United. Ten Hag is one hell of a manager. Still competitive in all competitions, even without a centre forward. No chance of them underestimating the Seagulls, that is the kind of mistake that you can’t afford to make.

Haaland first player to score 5 in a Wembley Manchester derby final? Probably worth a punt if the game actually takes place.

Honestly havent got a clue why they were doing that it was all over- was the worst time to one of our only attacks of the game .
Maybe if it had been toilet roll before kick off for the players ,it would have been understandable with the quality of the Brighton team .

Richgy when you were 2 nowt down you had a great chance to get a goal back buy missed .. again at 4-0 another glorious chance to score .. alas not to be , im sure regardless of the result most Cods will have enjoyed the experience.

Not overly keen on that pink kit ..nearly as bad as the Scunny yellow monstrosity.

I thought they’d got a special kit for where they were playing.
