“A MASK MUST HAVE SEVERAL LYRES OF PROTECTION.”

Along with other stringed instruments! 😜

    It’s our time.

Safety should be the first port of call. Only FFP2 AND FFP3 MASKS WILL HELP AGAINST COVID. IF THESE MASKS ARE OF THIS TYPE THEN I AM IN FAVOUR OF ANY CLUB SELLING THEM WITH THERE LOGO ON.IF
NOT THEN THEY ARE NOT SAFE. THE DROPLETS OF THIS VIRUS ARE SO SMALL THAT IF YOU PUT 50 SIDE BY SIDE THEY EQUAL THE WIDTH OF A SINGLE HAIR. A MASK MUST HAVE SEVERAL LYRES OF PROTECTION.

Completely missing the point of why we’re being encouraged to wear masks. The reason is not to protect the wearer from infection (inhalation) but to protect everyone from infection from the wearer (exhalation). An ffp3 mask has an exhalation valve so is completely useless in this situation. Think why a surgeon wears a mask, not to protect him or herself from infection from the patient, but to protect the patient from possible infection from the surgeon.
    Here endeth the lesson.

No point in wearing a visor either, I think it’s only to reduce the chances.

Surely reducing the chances of infection is the point Mick?

That’s like saying there’s no point wearing a seatbelt in the car. It won’t definitely stop you dying in an accident it will only reduce the chances. No point.

The truth is masks should have been
Compulsory months ago. The reason it was not was to save stock for the NHS.
I go through approx 20 masks a day so you Times that by the number of all NHS staff and care homes etc. To help
This the government are calling it face coverings. Alot of people are taking this to mean a scarf etc to cover there
Nose and mouth. This will not stop you
    From getting covid.

No but it’ll stop other people from getting it. Wearing a mask shows respect for the people around you, showing you’re prepared to make a minor gesture for the good of others. It’s called ‘society’.

This is absolutely true. It was absolute nonsense not to make them compulsory back in March/April.

I think Anderson is referring to scarves there. Scarves can be used as a face mask, but they need to be secured tightly around the nose, which is harder to do properly than with a cloth mask with straps for the ears.

The wearing of face coverings was just brought in to give snowflakes the confidence to get back out there again. If that as the desired effect then jobs a good un,the gov just rolled over with the schools for the same reason they didn’t want to waste all that money providing them but if that’s what it takes then so be it,Up to now 64 million have took advantage of eat out to help out all without masks, Blm protests no masks and no surge in cases, everybody needs to stop panicking and acting like infants.

Many of the BLM protests involved mask wearing.

Meanwhile in highly populates countries where measures have been neglected or are hard to emplace, coronavirus has caused huge problems. It’s almost as if there’s a contagious disease and measures taken to reduce impact help mitigate or something.

It’s called being over the top, And the gov are just reacting to hysteria and not medical advice, even the Who only say that face coverings “COULD” be a barrier. But like I did say if that’s what it takes then jobs a good un.

What’s over the top about mitigating against a disease which has killed hundreds of thousands in the USA, Brazil and India, where they have neglected mitigation or have a dense population which makes mitigation difficult? The fact that the majority who die are vulnerable is no excuse for us being lapse. I am not so easy at being so nonchalant about deciding who gets to live and die.

Listening to medical advice won’t make a difference, as the current expertise from experts is that masks make a difference in preventing the spread of coronavirus.

BRI get your self out there and look what goes on down town, masks are on and off more times than a prostitute knickers, if any have covid it would spread like wildfire,
