New centre forward (I think) from Tamworth. Good to see we’re getting a bit of depth for what will be the crucial month of March

    New formation?
    Fitz
    Rose Kuoguan Boyce Denton
    Carlton Roberts Federa
    Wreh Beck Whitehall

Might concede a few but should score at least one more.

I had the impression that Whitehall was out for the season so Wreh would be his replacement.

Whitehall is due for a scan on his knee today, as per Butler’s interview on Humberside yesterday. I guess we’ll know the severity of the injury and when he is expected to return in a couple of days.

    Escaping racist abuse?
He should be okay when he comes to a club with better standards than most.

I missed that bit Les? Where does it say he’s escaping racist abuse?

Not exactly a vote in confidence for Beck & Carlton but don’t think we had a choice.

Gives us some options now at least

Not so much for Beck, but Carlton has previously played on the wing. Fadera was more of a worry for his confidence and, so far, I think Fadera has impressed more.

At home, I would still like to see Beestin as the centre forward, like at the start of the season, with the faster and/or skillful players behind him, e.g. Roberts, Carlton, Fadera. Different horses for different courses.

Not for me. Alfie OK as 2nd striker but not the focal point. Prefer him in MF.

So Tamworth gave him no support. Well he won’t have to put up with any of that with Scunny!

I read he had a lot of goal involvements/goals when playing for them “Tamworth” last season. Wreh really impressed for them last season. Great signing at this level and could very well push us over the line.

It was a moderate to poor attempt at humour. I am too old to understand your post so I thought I’d get you back. Sorry.

On a slightly more serious note the fella did OK when he came on yesterday. Put himself about and showed 2 or 3 good touches.

Something different to Beck and Whitehall. Better in the air than Danny and more mobile than Mark.

For what it’s worth thought Beck was OK yesterday as well. The team overall looked lethargic and ponderous until the last 15 minutes. When the choice was getting a cross in for Beck or pass it back to a defender we nearly always chose option 2.

Start the new lad in every one of the remaining games and give him a real chance to show us what he can do.

We know Beck is a disaster. Bench him.

Not sure xG (expected goals) is age specific? It was tongue in cheek football jargon.

Make your mind up. You were undermining his pedigree the other day.
