Yes as it was when David Hilton came in, give the guy a chance, he has been here 5 mins and it is going to take a long time to sort out the shit show he was handed!

In his own words after the Southend game “I’ve been here 10 weeks”
And people complain about mistruths on here ffs
May 10, 2023 at 11:57 am #261882So you think 10 weeks is long enough to sort out years of mis-managment?

I think a healthy dose of scepticism is a pre-requisite for any football fan.
Obviously settling the tax debt was important but, otherwise, what positive signs have you seen since Hilton’s takeover?
Because I would point out the following:
– Proposing to move the club to Ilkeston – on non-matchdays
– Proposing to shut down the academy before Tony Daws explained the situation
– Appointing Jimmy Dean & the scatter-gun transfer policyIf we hadn’t had the Swann era, do you reckon you would be cutting him less slack?

May 10, 2023 at 4:26 pm #261904There are also still unresolved issues like the 1899 club and where that leaves the 50 or so supporters who have handed over nearly £2k each, should the stadium still belong to Swann after 24 May.

They’ve been sold a membership with an option to buy a share in the ground. That share is the main selling point as far as fans are concerned but I wonder where they would stand legally as they haven’t actually been sold a share in the ground.

At Boston(a club we should be looking at what to do – they imploded, nearly fell into the NPL, found a new owner)Craig Singleton seems to do lots of different roles there – Secretary, Media, Commercial, turns up doing the commentary on Radio Lincs.
